Very Poor, Especially for the Price

Newby Bridge has very few eating options regardless of whether you’re vegan or not, so seeing as I was staying at the hotel attached to the pub, my hand was somewhat forced into dining.
While vegan options are clearly marked on the menu, there are no starters or desserts, only nibbles and mains. I ordered the hummus dish and and olives, both were very basic given the cost of them. Unfortunately, the main (the vegan burger) was even less impressive; it was burnt and the portion was woeful. I would gladly stay at the hotel again, but I think I would rather go without than dine in the pub again.
