Wholly unmemorable

Not being even remotely familiar with Marathi cuisine, and always keen to try new things, I decided to give Swaad a go. Alas, I was out of luck. I ordered the dal that staff recommended, only to find out it tasted like any "standard" Indian dal. There wasn't much else to choose from anyway (only this and a biryani, if I recall correctly), but at least staff took the time to check and verify the dal was vegan by default. For one more euro I could have got the dish as part of a lunch menu that also included a soft drink and coffee.. but since I don't drink those, I just opted for the à la carte version of it. And to be fair, there was nothing wrong with my meal, it just felt like something I've eaten a thousand times before, and that I could easily cook by myself. The experience wasn't exactly heightened when staff tried to charge me the lunch menu price, and I had to correct him by actually flipping the menu and pointing to the stated price. From that point on he appeared to give me some attitude, which I resented.

Tolles indisches Restaurant

Viele vegetarische Gerichte werden auch vegan serviert!

Pros: Große Auswahl an fleischlose Gerichte , Tolles Ambiente , Super freundliche Bedienung
