Shouldn't be listed

This is just a bog standard chain sushi restaurant that has no more options than any other. Nothing is marked on the menu as being vegan.
Literally the only "vegan options" are cucumber rolls and kanpyo (dried gourd) rolls.
The inari sushi is not vegan as the tofu pouches are simmered in fish stock to flavour them (I emailed their customer service to ask and they confirmed this).
The tempura and fries are also fried in the same oil as meat and fish if that's something that bothers you.

Fun conveyor belt sushi place

Sushiro is the best price/quality kaiten zushi aka conveyor belt sushi restaurant and this one is located nearby Shinjuku Station.
There are some vegetarian and vegan options from sushi to tempura.
Seaweed on the sushi rolls was fresh and crunchy, rice and veggies were nice too.
The rolls are a bit basic compared to a western version of sushi but still good.
There's hot water and matcha powder readily available, wasabi packets too.
You can eat as many dishes as you want, each costing from 100 to 300 yen. You order through a tablet and they have an english menu but veggie options are not clearly labeled.
The amount of plates you've had are counted at the end before you pay.

Tasty sushi with a nice variety of flavors

Offers a delightful variety of maki with fresh vegetables, inari, fried pumpkin, and even glazed sweet potatoes for dessert.

Great place

Super cheap, helpful staff, fun vibes.

Someone before said options were limited, which is not the case. They are, however, in English, not well labeled and or sorted in an easy way. It took me about ten minutes to find them.

In addition, the device you order on has an allergen list PDF that clearly shows what’s vegan though it’s 16 pages long and not always a direct translation to what it’s called in order menu.

Disappointing

Having read the reviews on here, I was looking forward to some sushi. Unfortunately, the menu has changed. The only vegetarian items available are - edamame, French fries & sweet potato tempura. That’s it! So not really worth the visit ☹️

delicious vegan options!

This place saved us one night, after not finding some vegan restaurants open past 8pm. We waited for 10 minutes but the service was fast and efficient. We enjoyed the inari sushi (tofu skin pockets), cucumber and plum rolls, the French fries, the tempura, and the miso soup. We enjoyed all these options even though it can be considered very basic sushi options. Also great experience of conveyer sushi in Tokyo.

the inari sushi at Sushiro (or any other sushi chains/convenience stores/supermarkets for that matter) is not vegan. The tofu pouches are simmered in fish stock

The miso soup is also made with fish stock. All miso soup in Japan outside of vegan restaurants is.

Dinner and a show!

There were plenty of vegan options at the Shinjuku location, located on the 3rd floor of a complex near the train station.

It seems every location features slightly different options. This one had 5 veggie rolls, tempura pumpkin, miso soup, French fries, and a few dessert options that, upon ingredient research, are typically prepared with vegan ingredients, such as the bracken mochi, rice dumplings with shoyu glaze, frozen mango, and Japanese sweet potato.

Nothing in the restaurant was marked “vegan” so I had to be more fastidious about my choices.

It was a fantastic atmosphere and a real treat to watch the conveyor sushi (kaitenzushi) delivery system! All ordering is done on a tablet, so you can take your time and order in batches. Payment is easy and contactless as well, through QR code kiosk ticket scanning.

Definitely definitely worth a visit.

Pros: Excellent automated atmosphere, Great veg selection, English menu on tablets

Cons: Nothing clearly marked “vegan”

Good sushi but very few veg options

You probably have to wait for a little while before getting seated. At the table you have a tablet to order food and drinks that will be delivered to your table via a conveyer belt. English translation is available on the tablet. Payment is done at the end at a machine.

There are 3 vegan sushi: cucumber rolls, cucumber plum rolls and inari.
There are a few more vegan things on the menu like the pumpkin tempe (fried pumpkin) which is very good or the french fries but that's pretty much all you get there.
The food is good and the place is ok for a quick bite but don't expect anything more.

Pros: Quick food delivery

Cons: Very few veg options

Hardly any vegan or vegetarian options

You order through tablet device at the table, english works fine. The vegetarians options were very few and not very enjoyable.

Easy and cheap

The menu items include photos, which helps clarify what will come to you. There were multiple veggie rolls—I couldn’t try them all, I ordered too much, but what I had was decent. As for dessert, I had the candied sweet potato and warabi. I couldn’t confirm if the candied sweet potato contained honey, which for me is not an issue but could be for others, of course. If your Japanese is better than mine, you may be able to ask staff about it. Otherwise, there is a handy allergen menu to guide you on their website (I didn’t notice if they had it on the touchscreen menu).

Pros: Allergen list on website, Inexpensive , Multilingual touch screen menu

Cons: No customizing
