Delicious curry - Edit
Ordered the vegetable curry, it surpassed expectations with a delicious mix of vegetables and mushrooms. No tofu, but can’t really complain about that as the veg & mushrooms were so good. (Oct 2024)
Read moreUpdate Feb 2025: Have now also had the miso eggplant entree and the vegetarian don, highly recommend both. The don is described as salad but it is substantial including mixed mushrooms and vegetables.
Always very busy; expect food to take a while - but it is clearly all freshly made and worth the wait. There are also pre-made sushi options at the counter.

Great Japanese - Edit
A very popular place and deservedly so. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. I really enjoyed the teriyaki tofu which came with rice and salad as well as the vegetable tempura roll. Friendly service and an intimate interior with takeaway options as well.
