Delicious, clearly marked options

We stumbled on this place and entered because the menu was clearly marked. The gomae salad was unique and swimming in dressing (in the best way!!). I got the vegan aburi which was the only thing over priced on the menu in my opinion, but it was delicious. The Lady Tofu roll was absolutely fantastic, and had fleshy type fillings which the staff assured me was vegan, it was some sort of rice paper filling. The entire roll was tempura deep fried - something I never thought I’d get to try as a vegan! I also had the lady mango roll, which was more standard, and the sweet tofu roll which was delicious and more unique than a typical inari nigiri. We had a pitcher of the strawberry sake cocktail which was just sweet enough and shared between 4 was very cheap. At the end I questioned whether I had been charged for everything, it was all so reasonable!

Suggestions: offer a vegan platter. And last call was 30 minutes prior to close, which felt rushed. We were being mopped around as we finished eating, and we left 7 minutes after business closed.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options , Unique rolls , Very well priced

Cons: Kitchen closes prior to close of business

Favourite well labelled sushi in van

These guys have a very well labelled vegan menu and staff are knowledgeable. It’s a really great price for portion size too we always order too much as you’d think the portions would be small. They do really great simple vegan sushi no fake anything and just yum and the gomae is fantastic! A great little spot the insides nice to sit in too

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Cheap , Healthy and filling

Not just avocado rolls!!

I was here in late 2019.

It was a nice, clean, cozy restaurant with clearly marked vegan-friendly items on their menu.

I enjoyed the food (various rolls, gyoza and spinach gomae).

Great place

All vegan item are labeled except for miso, that’s also vegan it’s just not labeled.
I had miso and vege bento box, everything I had was delicious and only cost me around $10.
Staff were friendly, even the cooks said goodbye as we were leaving.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan, Decent food and good value, Friendly staff

Cons: Restaurant was a little dark and dingy feeling

Loved it!

I had a craving for japanese food for a while. But sadly in most japanese restaurants there is not so much options... It's how I ended up here! And I don't regret it.
Every vegan items are marked on the menu which make it easy to spot them and there are a lot of options!
Had some tempura rolls, some veggie gyoza and a teriyaki plate. Delicious!
The service was very good as well.
I found the environment of the restaurant in itself a bit dark and old fashioned.
Overall experience was great anyway. I'll come back!

Pros: Lot of vegan options which are marked, Delicious food, Nice staff

Cons: Decoration/Ambiance (could be improved)

Really good

Went here and the food was really good and labeled. Was excited to see they had teriyaki without fish sauce and tempura without egg in the batter. Will definitely go back. Was nice to have more options then the general sushi place.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Vegan labeled
