Definitely 5 Star!

I arrived just after lunch, about 2pm. Rang the bell to get buzzed in, takeoff shoes and walk up to 2nd Floor. There are tables, but I chose crisscross applesauce on a floor cushion. I ordered a set meal lunch of miso soup, spicy noodle soup, chefs sushi surprise 3 pieces and cold nutmeg drink. I also ordered the special mango roll, chef recommended inside out roll and a hand roll because that is just my style, gluttonous. The miso was served in about 2 minutes and before I could finish the next rolls and soups were in front of me so there was no waiting. Impressive for a made to order kitchen. The miso was tasty. The rolls had radish and small cucumber to palette cleanse and goji berries with sauces were presented with delicious style. The spicy noodles were mild-plus spicy in a delish broth with a texture that reminded me of egg drop that I ate years ago. It’s nice when I find an excellent vegan spot that I can just tell these are my people. The place was so nicely decorated it was just relaxing and comfortable to be there. I tend to rate well or not rate at all because I don’t like to be negative, but this is one of those where I wish we were able to give a couple 6 star reviews a year. Also must mention the food is not just yummy, it is plant based healthy and no-waste eco friendly.

Pros: All Plant Based Vegan fresh, no mock meats., Friendly., Reasonable price w relaxing atmosphere.

Amazing Vegan Sushi

I went here for lunch with a friend, the atmosphere, food and service were incredible. The quality of food is fantastic and so delicious. The menu gives great guidance as to which dishes are the healthiest or most popular etc. We ordered two main dishes and about 5 smaller share plates, everything was fantastic. I wish they had this chain globally.

Pros: Amazing food, Cool atmousphere, Great service

Lovely vegan food

This is the 1st japanese vegan restaurant I've heard of and thought of give it a try, I love their food here, it's fresh, made to order, healthy and delicious. It's reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the service provided.
The environment itself is clean, peaceful, and filled with well-kept plants , it's very cozy.

Thank you Sushi kitchen, for the beautiful experience.

Excellent vegan restaurant

This place serves the best vegan sushi ever. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients, no mock meat on their menu, and it was all made to order. The environment was very comfortable and relaxing , all windows have healthy potted plants on the outside, in a corner they setup a small water feature with some guppy in it, it almost felt like we were back in nature with all the greens around us and water trickling sound😄LOVE IT !!!

It's alright. Quite overrated and lacking in substance.

Visit on 19 July 2017:
The food is good and definitely different than the usual vegetarian food you would find in Penang. The food is alright, but I would say overrated and lacking with the unreasonable pricing on their noodles. The sushi is alright, happy that they have vegan mayo but nothing to shout about. The ambience is very homey and cosy, with Japanese style floor seating too. Don't hate it, but there are definitely better options in this area.
A bit understaffed it seems, so service is quite slow. Parking is pretty convenient.

Pros: Homey and Cosy Ambience, Tasty, Entirely Vegan Sus

Cons: Slow Service, Noodles Lack Substance, Overrated

Cozy food cafe with kind service and delicious food

Delicous. Varieties of ramen dishes, fried rice options, soups and vegan sushies with vegan mayo. Most dishes were around 10 MYR (01/2017) with the top ones around 16 and the cheapest main at around 5 MYR (maybe 4 or 6). The "saver" includes white or brown rice and unlimited miso refills, saying it is in the menu so everyone could have a filling meal. They offered a few complementary maki rolls (2 or 3) both times I visited, and these were truly toothsome. Wakame was excellent. I literally went back there a second time after an embarrassing food and service experience (and I'm not really picky) at a nearby vegetarian cafe to overwrite the insult. :)

Pros: Cozy, floor sitting and regular chair options, Fast internet, Delicious, clean, healthy food

Cons: For enough greens might have to order extra

Great food great place a way far from george town

I really like this place since is vegan without onion and garlic dishes. Japanese style with retro atmosphere and Eco messages. Food was great and serve quiet fast even the restaurant was semi-full. The staff speak English and are helpful. Toilet is Asian style not for restaurant in my opinion. The restaurant is on second floor u must ring the bell for door to open. I really want to go again:) my only complain was that seems was having management issues since they change my order 3-4 times! Due to rice running off dishes and they make mistake at my bill as well. Can be random incident as well of course due to many costumers while the Chinese new year holidays. However I recommend this place. To go take a bus from central station in Komtar with bus number 302 and mention the street name and the school name written above. Notice that working hours change I already contact site management for that

Pros: Atmosphere , Food quality , Clean place

Cons: Location for foreigners, Asia style toilet, Management issues
