Sushi bar experience - Edit
I didn’t expect to find a sushi bar with a dedicated vegan menu — such a great surprise! The sushi was really good, with creative and well-balanced flavor combinations. A great choice if you’re dining with non-vegan friends as well. The owner was very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Amazing tiny sushi space - Edit
This was our second meal in Tokyo and set the bar super high. There were many vegan sushi options, the four we had were absolutely delicious, and the owner was very passionate.

Best vegan sushi! - Edit
We domed the restaurant on Instagram the day before to get a reservation. The restaurant is super small, only seats 6. It was my fave experience in Tokyo! The chef is amazing and the food tasted incredible. Such a unique experience my husband and I had during our time in Tokyo.

This was really the best vegan sushi I ever had. The chef Masura, is the kindest! It’s also a good combination if your partner isn’t vegan because Masura knows how to roll his sushi.

Incredible sushi - Edit
This was, hands down, the most incredible meal I had in Japan. It doesnt look like much, a small slice in the wall. But the chef was incredible, the sushi was delicately crafted, and the flavors were on point. Everything was elevated and incredibly well crafted. I'm not even sure there wasnt witchcraft involved to get the avocado this good. The avocado sushi two ways is one piece with miso, and one with white radish and lime, incredible pieces both.

Read moreThe atmosphere is cozy, our host Masarito-San was charming and very good at running operations smoothly. Every dish was of discovery of high quality ingredients and products. His passion for food and attention to detail was evident.
My husband raved about the local craft beer. The edamame was the best we’ve ever had. The soft tofu dish was quite a surprise.
I eat only plant-based and found the small menu contained enough options for me. If you give him notice, he can prepare a special vegan traditional Japanese menu. He offered me pickled celery, spicy konjac in soy sauce, deep fried tofu (grilled myself over fire, then dipped in soy sauce & ginger, topped with miso paste) and nato sushi (high protein, fermented soybeans, quite filling).
I highly recommend this experience for everyone.

Loved it! Veggie options delicious - Edit
There is vegetarian Kappa Maki, Avocado Maki, Tofu dish and Edamame. Everything was super delicious and I could watch Mr. Noguchi prepare everything freshly. He knew and understood what vegetarian means and was happy to prepare the veggie options for me. The homemade ginger was super delicious! Everything was prepared freshly and with care , so there was no strong fish smell from the other non-veggie dishes. I would definitely come back!

Incredible Chef - Edit
A very small, 6 seat sushi bar close to Akihabara. They do serve fish, but the chef is very accomodating and will make delicious vegan sushi for you. The chef speaks English, if you do not know any Japanese.
