Good food, many vegan options - Edit
I got vegan ramen and vegan gyoza. Both were good. The ramen was very filling with lots of vegetables. I added soy sauce to the ramen because I felt it needed more salt. The gyoza was quite oily, but tasty.

The selection of vegan/veg rolls is pretty good and are clearly marked and have a separate part of the menu.

Vegan Sushi! - Edit
Sushi 101 has a dedicated vegan Sushi part of the menu as well as other options such as ramen, salads, soups, etc. My partner and I got 3 rolls, spicy garlic edamame, a ginger salad, and an iced matcha with pineapple. Everything was prepared quickly and was delicious. The also have Mochi for dessert in four flavors. We got strawberry and it was sooo good. I highly recommend this place!

Great Selection - Edit
This place has a really good selection of vegan rolls. You have to try the tofu inari, the garden fire and the sweet potato rolls. The ramen is amazing as well.

Specialty rolls and ramen 🍜🍣 - Edit
Really nice variety of specialty rolls. The sweet potato tempura roll and lotus roll are my favorites. The tempura batter is vegan but they do warn that they may use a shared fryer with other non-veg items if you are concerned about cross contamination. They also offer vegan ramen which is really creamy and flavorful! The vegan “tuna” is made from bell pepper and is really unique with a smokey flavor. Overall this is some of the best veg sushi I’ve had in the valley. Highly recommend checking them out.

Menu changed - Edit
They have changed the "vegan" menu to "vegetarian" and their rolls which contain tempura are no longer vegan. Previous reviews stating that the tempura items are vegan are from old version of menu. They have less vegan rolls and options now. Disappointing.

The BEST vegan sushi!!! - Edit
Sushi 101 is amazing. We've been coming here for years. It's the perfect place to bring family and friends who are not vegan. Everyone's happy!! My favorite rolls are the sweet potato roll, lotus roll and the Yuko roll (it's on their secret menu).

This place was great! They had a separate vegan menu and everything in green on the menu is vegan. I had the spicy edamame, sweet potato roll (which was soooo good), and the avocado and cucumber roll. They had several interesting options including a side of vegan tuna and vegan crispy spring rolls. Very nice service.

When a fellow vegan told me about all the vegan options here, I couldn't wait to check them out. We're not talking an avocado roll here or a tofu salad there. No, no. They offer a nice variety of vegan sushi rolls; 9 vegan rolls are featured on their menu. Vegan appetizers include spring rolls, tempura vegetables, and a few other options. If it's written in green, it's vegan.
Read moreThe Springs Rolls were fried to a golden brown and were deliciously crunchy. Not all sauces are created equal, but I love their sweet and sour dipping sauce. The Veggie Tempura was ok.
My favorite roll is their Lotus Roll. Made with asparagus tempura, avocado, and mango (I omit the cucumbers), this is a tastebud tantalizing dish.
If you enjoy a little spice, try the Gardenfire Roll, which consists of jalapeño, peppers, & Sriracha. It is a hearty roll that is sure to light your fire!
I also got a side order of their fried rice (sans egg to make it vegan. Also note how the word "egg" is written in black, not green) and surprisingly, it was some of the best fried rice that I have ever had outside of my hometown. I was very impressed.
They have happy hour every day from 4pm-7pm, and from 9pm-close. Happy Hour prices for appetizers and sushi rolls are written in red on the menu, so there's no guesswork here.
We have always had decent service here. I'm a fan!
