Something unique

The chef's specialty menu has shown a different take to hotdog.

A sushi hotdog. Never in my life thought it could be a thing, and Damm...it was good🤩

Pros: Variety of options, The chef specialty menu, Flavours

A nice surprise

The venue was nice, right next to the beach, had some people dancing. The service was actually quite good and there were more vegan options than we thought (including a few milkshake options, yum) we had the pizza, burger and some zucchini chips and it was all amazing.

Pros: Yum food, By the beach, Nice staff

Cons: It did get quite loud, Windy, if you’re sitting outside, Had vegan ice cream in milkshakes but not dessert

Big selection

Great spot right next to the beach . Offering indoor and out door seating . They don't have vegan cheese on the pizza but it's loaded with veggies

Pros: Choices , Milkshakes , Beach

Cons: No cheese

They really try for vegans!

This place is a mostly outdoor cafe right on the beach at South Beach Durban. It's 95% mainstream and 5% vegan.
It has about 10 vegan options including the delicious 5 different types of vegan milkshake which is impossible to find anywhere in South Africa except maybe Cape Town.
I had the almond brittle shake, homemade almond brittle and chocolate sauce and it was 10/10 divine. I'd go there again just for the shakes.
I had the vegan burger but it was not a burger which let me down a bit as I was wanting a burger experience. They grill a small brown mushroom and put it on a dry patty with avo and artichoke and onion 2/10 - was not what I wanted. They need a proper vegan burger IMO. Owner said she doesn't want to do a patty because it's not healthy enough but she has hotdogs and hamburgers on her menu which cause cancer so the rationale wasn't quite hitting me right.
They have several other options like a tofu poke bowl, tofu udon noodles, and a so called taco wrap which is nothing like a taco, has tofu, babganoush, hummus, and pickled vegetables.
The service and staff were +20/10 they really care, they know what vegan means, and they want to help. My waiter Mali was excellent.

Pros: Vegan Milkshakes! , On the beach! , Staff are A++++!

Cons: No vegan burgers cause they aren't healthy?, Need more variety
