Great restaurant

They have an extensive menu with numerous vegan options. Some other dishes can be veganised or cooked to order if following an ayurvedic diet.
Take your own plant milk as the kitchen is happy to use it to make porridge, for example.
Ask for black tea as it is made with milk by default.
Unni speaks English and will help you with vegan options. There are a few tofu dishes as well as dishes made with beans (channa-chickpeas, and rajma-kidney beans), lentils, and cashew nuts.

Good food

Clean place. Service was good, the food is made to order. Location is not far from the beach. Prices are good.

Pros: Service, Cleanliness , Outdoor seating

Cons: Food has been curved to western palate

Vegans, don't go here.

Vegans, don't go here. They claimed everything is vegan on the menu. I explained him to concept to be sure and they were pretty confident that none of it will be in my food. When they brought the fried rice I took a bite and noticed the awful taste of butter. He asked in the kitchen and turned out they used butter. They simply took my plate and said sorry.

In short, you'll never see me here. They didn't really care as well. Also, I doubt the food was fresh and I think they store in freezer, because of Covid there are not many tourists in Kovalam.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: They think vegan and veg is the same. , Food not fresh.
