CLOSED: Supergood
This casual-funky vegetarian restaurant has several defined seating areas, a very modern bathroom with huge sinks, a special sushi preparation table in the middle of the restaurant, and a large and varied menu. There are vegan options available and cheese can be omitted from several vegetarian dishes. Menu contains interesting choices such as fast-food-like seitan burgers and polenta fries. Reported closed to HappyCow May 2011.

OK,but not many good vegan options - Edit
We went to Supergood our first night in Berlin. We were in the area, and it was the only place nearby. I was a bit disappointed, especially after reading the description of the restaurant as having something with sushi. The menu is very limited, and even more limited if you are vegan. Even the polenta sticks had cheese! (what's with vegetarians adding cheese and more cheese to everything?;-))The only thing I could really find that looked appealing was the minestrone soup. I was told that there was rice in it,but there wasn't any. I had to add a good bit of salt and pepper to make it taste like anything, and this is after being told that the stock was made there! My husband did get a seitan burger, which he said was OK,but the potatoes weren't very good. I felt that they put more into the decor than the menu. Yes,it was a huge place, and the bathrooms were pretty nice, but that was about it. The menu looked really bland
Would we go back? Only if we were stuck on that end of Freidrichstrasse and was too hungry to go somewhere else. I wish I had more to say about that place, but I really wasn't impressed by the food or the menu(even if I was a regular vegetarian,it wasn't too interesting). I will give them 3 stars, since I didn't get enough to eat there to fully decide that they need to improve.
Pros: Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff, inexpensive
Cons: non interesting menu, very little vegan options, bland food

Great experience - Edit
Visited Supergood on the last day in November 2010. Supergood is like a fast food restaurant but with better food, decor and of course no meat. The restaurant is very funky as mentioned in other reviews, they have spent a huge amount of money on the building, even the toilets have textured wall tiles :)
The food is tasty and there is a lot of choice, from burgers, pasta, salad and even sushi. It does cost more than a normal fast food but they even make a effort with presentation and overall I thought it was good value.
It is nice to see that someone has made the effort to open a veggie fast food restaurant and I hope they open a branch near me soon.
I visited in a group of six with only two of us veggies, everyone enjoyed the food (especially the waffles)and the non veggies were very surprised how good it was. This is not the sort of place for a romantic meal, but it is worth a visit to see, as hopefully this is the future.
Pros: Food, décor , waffles
Cons: Staff not the best

"Supergood" - Good but not super. - Edit
The food at supergood is certainly worth trying - very healthy and tasty as the other reviews have pointed out already, but also quite pricey with 11€ for a proper meal.
When we asked for vegan options we were first told that there were none. After having asked some other staff they came up with two options out of their big menu - quite disappointing.
After we'd ordered we got given a blinking plastic thing which we had to take to our table to wait for it to beep as a sign we could go and get our food - I don't know about others but I felt like I was eating in a spaceship or something. Everthing was so impersonal and without atmosphere and the staff wasn't terribly friendly either.
Unfortunately, it's the only veggie place in the area so before you starve, it's better than nothing I suppose.
Pros: fresh and healthy food
Cons: few vegan options, expensive, staff could be friendlier

Super Restaurant! - Edit
This place is fab! It was really refreshing to go to a veggie restaurant that looked so contemporary & cool, but was still within our price range (i.e. cheap!). On our first visit during our recent trip to Berlin we had one of the all-inclusive meals, with fresh squeezed juice, delicious cheese burgers and polenta fries, for approximately 6 euros. The cake of the day was superb, and the waffles and ice cream are simply heaven. We returned several days later because we were so impressed with the food, the central location, and the gorgeous interior design. And also because we had stinking colds and really wanted soup! I was served by the world's most helpful chap, who was happy to speak to me in English, and again, the food was just yummy. We noticed that this restaurant was nice & busy which may be because it doesn't scream out 'vegetarian' and is less intimidating to non-veggies (you know how they can be sometimes!) I highly recommend 'Supergood' and will go back again the next time I am in Berlin.
Pros: Excellent Food, Gorgeous interior, Good value

Supergood, Berlin - Edit
I loved this place! It demonstrates how simple and obvious it is to be vegetarian. I loved the concept - it's uber-modern surroundings, very clean, relaxed and well organised. The food is basically fast food, but healthy fast food - I've never been anywhere that does healthy fast food in this way and so well. It shows how easy it can be - why does everyone not eat this way! The staff were so helpful as well, I was looking for vegan options and felt I had sufficient choice - if you ask then there are dishes that they will tailor for you, and they explained it really well to me. The food is fairly bland, but it's what you'd expect - this is fast food, not a la carte, but it's still lovely. We ate there twice in our short stay. I had some delicious minestrone type soup, and also a broth - which is a very clear soup there with lots of healthy veg in. I also had some sort of 'burger' type meal, can't quite remember what it was now, but I liked it. And I also had a wrap type thing - again made with some sort of meat substitute. I don't normally eat meat substitutes at all, just not my preference, but I enjoyed both these items. We didn't eat there for breakfast but it looks good too - lots of juice and smoothie options, and of course fruit or cakes/waffles if you fancy something sweet. Prices were really good too - a real bargain. I would love it if my home town had a Supergood - you couldn't keep me away, and I would definitely eat here again.
Pros: Good food, Lovely surroundings, Helpful staff.

Very fresh, a bit bland - Edit
I had the spring rolls, polenta sticks, and vegetable soup with rice noodles and tofu. I like the polenta sticks and spring rolls, but I didn't think they were anything to write home about. The soup was quite bland, and they didn't have any extra sauces on the tables to put in it, so I just took the red dipping sauce from the spring rolls and dumped it in the soup. (That helped a bit, but if I want rice noodles and tofu with veggies I think I will keep going to the woman at the Thai place across the street from my apartment -- lots more flavor with the coconut milk/curry powder combo!)
Despite this so-so experience, I'll definitely return because the menu is super veg-friendly and as a vegan I realized I had tons of options (or easily modified options) that were much healthier than the average veg place in Berlin -- which is typically fast food for vegetarians -- and I many things on it I have yet to try. Also, the place is big, lots of seating, very clean, and they have a nice looking juicer with mixed juice options.
All in all, I recommend this place ESPECIALLY to people who have restricted diets: vegetarian, vegan, raw vegan, and gluten-free people will all find something to eat here! (total cost of a main dish + side was 5-6 euros)
Pros: lots of options, healthy cuisine, clean
Cons: bland

The Future is Super - Edit
This is what the future will look like when modern man realises it should not really be eating meat. Perfect location just up from Friedrichstrasse station just before ther river and bridge. Probably the most progressive city in Europe if not the World has a huge showcase vegetarian eating venue that looks like the deck of the Starship Enterprise. I cannot imagine how many hundreds of thousands of Euros has been spent on this place. It is futuristic, daring, fresh, modern and flawless. It may sound hypocritical but I actually have no interest in going there again. I don't need to, this place is perfect for people who need to be made aware of how good vegetarian food can be and for those who are intrigued by a meat free diet. I know much more cosy and imtimate vegetarian dining places to frequent in Berlin that are more my style. Supergood offer burgers, wraps, sushi, soups, hot and cold drinks, freshly squeezed fruit juices and an impressive array of other main courses. The seating is fantastic, the colour scheme and decor very pleasing and there is a boldness that says 'why aren't you vegetarian - it's so easy'. One day in a Star Wars type world that looks like Coruscant, all eating places will look like this.
Pros: design, lighting, range of food
Cons: too cool

A taste of the future - Edit
This cafe is something else, its a large super efficient establishment with a large group of staff preparing the food and serving. You are given a buzzer which goes off when your food is ready for collection at the counter. It's a sophisticated fast food style restaurant which appears to have had a lot of money spent on it and you could imagine there being a chain of restaurants like this. It doesn't have the imtimate cosy ambiance that so many vegetarian restaurants have but it is great to see a vegetarian establishment of this scale in operation. The food and drink was presented very nicely. I chose the carrot & courgette soup which was delicious. Vegan options aren't labelled but staff advise on what can be vegan and will omit ingredients such as cream and cheese, just be careful, they nearly added cream to my soup.
Pros: efficient, tasty food, good value
