A++ - Edit

Absolutely awesome. I have tried almost everything on the menu and nothing disappoints. If you're a raw food fanatic, into ayrurvedia/holistic health or just need some delicious place that's guilt and allergen free. This is the vegan/ beegan Mecca of New England. Easy on all stomachs. They even have a kids menu. Did I mention the friendly staff? The price is slightly high but you get quality ingredients 100% of the time. All local produce and almost 100% house crafted creations included delicious deserts with support of local vendors such as Love Alive and Silvermoon Chocolate. A must try. You will be back

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, no bloating

Cons: Pricey, possible long wait(due to popularity and attention, Small space

So good - Edit

Everyone says that you should go out to eat by yourself at least once in your life, and being the only lonely vegan that I know I decided to go check this place out on my own. I went there with pretty high expectations, and let me tell you, they exceeded my expectations. I had a hard time choosing between two things but I had seen on social media that the kimchi quesadilla was extremely popular so I decided to get that. It was a great choice. It smelled so good but I tried to hold myself back enough to snap one picture by telling myself that sometimes food smells better than it tastes. I can assure you though, it tastes better than it smells, and it seriously smelled SO GOOD. The people were nice and the atmosphere was great. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Definitely a place vegans, vegetarians and curious meat eaters can enjoy. There was only one boy serving and there were a couple tables full of people because it was lunch time on Saturday and I was sitting alone in a corner so I did wait a little while before he asked for my order but I didn't mind.

Pros: Great food, Reasonably priced , Good vibe

Cons: Seemed slightly understaffed

oasis - Edit

If you are a mixed family, mostly meat but one lonestar vegan...this is perfect. I picked up my vegan meal to go and headed to the brewery down the street so they could eat what they wanted. Mushroom burger wrap was delish! Tons of chocolate delights, smoothies and juices. Thank god for this place!!

This is an amazing little cafe serving really great vegan dishes. the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very cute and inviting. If you are in the area you need to stop by and check it out. The only con is that its not open very late.

Pros: Amazing food and friendly staff, Serves smoothies and juices too, Free Wi-fi

Cons: Not open very late, Does not serve VT craft beer

excellent everything - Edit

Excellent service and reasonably priced great food. there was a very sizable menu with many raw and organic options. The atmosphere was great with extremely cute hippie/alternative chicks as staff who were all friendly and smiling. The food came out very fast. I sat down and they brought me each course perfectly. There was great art and decor with views of the river and comfortable seating either cushioned booths or table and chairs. I live am hour away and I will gladly drive out of my way to eat here.

Pros: Vegan organic local raw gluten free delicious

Cons: Only one cafe. I wish there were hundreds.

Everything is good, but hit or miss - Edit

Everything is quite delicious here. I love that they use little amounts of fat and oils in their cooking. I also enjoy the fresh ingredients.

Probably about 10 out of 15 times I've been there, it has been delicious. The other times, not so much. They seem to always have a new person in the kitchen or staff - who seem to mess up our orders.

I will continue to go there, for sure. It's VERY well priced as well. A dinner for 2 + appetizers can cost under 25 bucks!

Don't forget to salt your dishes when they arrive, pretty sure they don't use any salt in their cooking.

Pros: Cheap, Fresh, Vegan

Cons: Slow, Lacks a little bit of flavor, Not enough tables

GO EAT HERE!!!! - Edit

AMAZING food!! All vegan, all gluten free, tastes FANTASTIC!! Not just good healthy food, but really REALLY insanely great!! A top Vermont restaurant AND it has fresh, healthy ingredients? Man alive, this is a godsend!! Seriously great food - I can't say it enough.

Service is good, prices are reasonable, seating is cool....but really, all I care about? The food is the some of the best in the state! If you know Vermont, you know good restaurants are rare, and healthy organic food is pretty much absent. Not here. GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!

Cons: Slightly pricey (though justified), Tough parking when raining, No dinner, closes at 4pm

I love stopping in here for a quick lunch, and sometimes they have fun live music at night too. It's a really nice place to eat and hang out, meet some like-minded people. They have amazing fries! All the food's great.

Pros: excellent food, cheap, quick

Nice vegan cafè with best quesadillas ever! - Edit

We were touring New England last August 2014 and in Vermont we were looking for some vegan food. What a great surprise to find this lovely cafè with good vibe and service and a great menu. We had fabolous quesadilla ever!

Fresh And Tasty! - Edit

My best friend, her daughter and I went for the first time today. They were very busy due to the Labor Day weekend and they were out of stock on some of their items. My best friend had the raw lasagne with pesto which was out of this world. I had the Rooftop Garden sandwich on their raw pizza crust because they were out of their raw onion bread. I added the mushroom paste which I did regret but the rest of the sandwich was sensational! I especially loved their cashew cheese spread. My bff' s daughter offered a Funky Monkey sandwich from the kids menu. Home made bread, almond butter, bananas and raw honey. She loved it! We can't wait to go back and try more of their raw offerings! I also was happy to see the old Common Ground Restaurant sign up. It made me feel sentimental.

Wonderful, delicious, vegan food. - Edit

This new restaurant is in a fantastic location in Brattleboro (downtown, a couple of doors down from the Latchis). The food was delicious, and the atmosphere very warm. They have a large menu, with a lot of raw and gluten free options. Portions are a bit small, but the prices are reasonable. The pesto wrap was so good, and the macaroon was unbelievable! The staff is very attentive, friendly and kind (even on a slammed Easter afternoon). I was really not pleased with the flavored coffee, though, and that was the only coffee available. They take cards, and I love the payment system they use that allows you to choose a tip and tells you how much it'll cost (none, 15%, 20% or 25%) via a tablet with card reader. I really look forward to going there again, and trying something else since everything sounded so good!

There are a few things that contain honey, so be careful of that when ordering.

Pros: Large menu, Delicious food, Friendly, attentive staff

Cons: A few things contain honey, Bad, flavored coffee, Small portions

Get the macaroon! - Edit

I was quite impressed by the quality of the food and the staff's ability to operate while being slammed on Easter Weekend. I ordered a pesto wrap and a coffee and had a macaroon for dessert. It was very delicious.

My only complaint is that they only had one carafe of coffee available; some kind of selection would have been nice but it's not that big of a deal.

The location is perfect for exploring main street after lunch or meandering over to the co-op which is just next-door.
I intend to eat here again.

Pros: Organic and non-GMO options, Professional staff

Cons: I need more coffee! :P

yum!! - Edit

I went here with my non- vegan husband a few weeks ago and we both loved our meals! We split the Fancy Avocado sandwich on raw onion bread, the raw sushi rolls with mushroom and walnut, and the lentil special. It's great to know that everything is vegan (although they use honey) and gluten free as well! Can't wait to go back!

Pros: all gluten free

Outstanding Vegan Food - Edit

I am delighted that Brattleboro now has a vegan cafe (well, beegan - they do serve honey), all organic, non-gmo, gluten free. There are many raw items on the menu and a case full of raw desserts. For some reason the Google map shows it in Putney, but Superfresh! Organic Cafe is located a couple of doors to the left of the Latchis Theater on Main Street in BRATTLEBORO.

Pros: Excellent food, good value, nice vibe

organic vegan - Edit

This restaurant has the friendliest staff and best tasting food we have eaten since becoming vegan . We are contemplating spending our anniversary in this town just because we want to eat there again. The french toast was fantastic as was the pancakes .

Pros: friendly atmosphere, great food , quality of food

Cons: distance from CT

Healthy delicious, amazing atmosphere - Edit

I'm not a vegan, but I could eat here 5 days a week. The rotating menu always offers something new and exciting, kombucha on tap puts the bottled stuff to shame. The soups are always hearty, the sauces are always exquisite and the service is fantastic. My personal favorite is the veggie grain bowl combo, which fills me up proper and that's not easy to do! You'd be foolish to pass through brattleboro without stopping by superfresh.

Pros: Healthy, Fresh , Service

Cons: Limited winter seating

So delicious! You won't believe it's gluten-free! - Edit

I have loved absolutely everything I have had from Superfresh! I LOVE not having to worry about gluten or meat poisoning when trying to decide what to order! My all-time favorites so far are the (vegan) quesadilla which always comes over greens and with a DELICIOUS chipotle aioli, and the apple cinnamon waffle served for brunch on weekends! Gotta love that real Vermont maple syrup! In addition to food, I have enjoyed some fabulous beverages, including small batch kombucha on tap, pour-over coffee from local roaster Mocha Joe's, fresh veggie juice, and teas from the near-by Brattleboro Holistic Health Center.

Pros: hearty soups, CHIPOTLE AIOLI! (vegan), shopping and events in the same building

kurlly 31 Mar 2013 - Mmmmmm. mmmmm. Almost vegan never tasted so good. I didn't realize how yummy healthy food could taste until I had Superfresh at Equilibrium. The best part is how I feel after I've eaten though. My mind is clear and I am energized. There area always great staple items like the quesadilla, wraps, soup and salads, but there are also a variety of treats and juices that are nourishing and delish. Make sure to ask for some chaga if you haven't already :)
