Yummy with Plenty of options - Edit
Tried several vegan options and they were all very good!! However, as other people have pointed out, the menu can be quite confusing as the restaurant claims to be “plant based” yet serves dairy, eggs and fish. They shouldn’t state to be plant based and make the menu a bit more clear… Anyway, I found the actual plant based options to be quite good.

THIS IS NOT A VEGAN PLACE - Edit
I came here because the webpage says it is plant based. Well, apparently eggs and dairy (and salmon?) are now plants. The digital menu is a TikTok style, very difficult to navigate mess. They offered to veganize dishes but taking out ingredients, not replacing them with anything, and charging the same. When I asked them about the label “plant-based”, they tried to gaslight me to say that it means using bio / organic ingredients (though tbh that’s not the first time that happens to me in Madrid). There were some vegan dishes for lunch, but the kitchen was open only for breakfast, so it isn’t really a brunch place either.
Read moreThe waiter was kind, but still the overall vibe of the place (knowing that they have deceived vegans for a while now and haven’t done anything about it) is waaay off. Decor is good, but overall everything expensive: it is an “instagrammable” trap. Do not go there.

Confusing menu - Edit
I just had the worst possible thing to happen to a vegan happen to me. I saw they had a burger with Heura( spanish mock meat brand that focuses heavily on activism) and assumed it was vegan but turns out it wasn't. They don't have a printed menu but a digital one you scan with a qr code and you can't see all the descriptions of the menu items at once but have to tap on each one individually, most of their menu items are not vegan so after a while it just becomes too complicated to figure out what is vegan and what is not. I ate a bit of cheese and realized the burger wasn't vegan, turns out the bread isn't vegan either. I just wanted to pay and get out but the waitress asked me what was wrong and offered to make a new one with vegan cheese and vegan bread free of charge, which was very kind of her. After eating that bit of cheese I lost my appetite so I turned down her offer. She said I didn't have to pay for the burger since I didn't eat it but I paid anyway since it was also partly my fault and not hers. But that menu is so fu**ing confusing, also why would they make a burger with Heura(which is a brand that advertises with vegan activism) and not make it vegan?

ok - Edit

Quite expensive and confusing - Edit
We went there thinking it was vegetarian but it had salmon on the menu?? It was quite confusing because there were other dishes that we no longer knew if they had meat or fish inside, since the description is vague. It’s also a bit difficult to tell which things are vegan and which ones are vegetarian. We ended up having the chulísima burger which was a bit dry and not very good and the vegan truffle pizza which was really good but quite expensive for a small pizza (17,50€). We also had two margaritas which were delicious!

Good but.. - Edit
Not sure how to classify this restaurant offer. You claim veg and vegetarian dishes but in fact in almost all items there are potential allergens and non vegan/vegetarian ingredients like eggs, shell fish (?), lacteo.
Read moreI believe it's a major setback and the restaurant must clear up its identity. It's either an healthy food joint or a real vegan/vegetarian joint.
Pity as the food is generally good, the pink rice noodles were excellent, so the nachos sauce.

At first it was a bit confusing cause the menu (QR Code scanning with the phone) didn’t really work. When you select „vegan only“ it didn’t show anything.

Superchulo a cool place kind of vibe. It's modern, original, different, even extravagant.
Read moreThere are plenty of vegan options in the menu and I would say almost everything can be veganized.
However, and although the food I tried was very good, prices are too high, in my opinion, for the amount of food you get.

Cons: Expensive

Honestly I am not a fan of this place… I find it super overrated, people go there only for the instagram pictures. The food is expensive and nothing out of this world… there are much better places in Madrid

No excesivamente bueno - Edit

I miss the old restaurant - Edit
Very dissapointing!
Read moreThe previous venue decoration was spectacular! It had the best veg restaurant decoration. This new one could be any.
In the toilet in front of the sink there is a big window to Fuencarral street, so people can see you washing your hands or mouth. It is very uncomfortable!! I want a mirror in front of the sink, not people watching me like Big Brother.
The staff is very distracted. We had to ask for almost everything even more than twice: to order, for drinks, for a glass of water. The dessert was ridiculous: 3 times. And they didn't look stressed or busy.
Food was 4 out of 10. We start with the Super Picnic. Nice, but didn't like the sweet potato spread.
Then Fresh Currito...the best we had! Really tasty!
Korean pizza. The vegan cheeze is a disaste! It is like a cream sauce. Please, buy Daiya cheeze. It is the best! The rest of the ingredients were ok.
To finish we ordered the brownie. The worst I have ever had. Hard as a rock. The ice cream was very icy.
It would be a dream come true to get the old restaurant back.
I will definitely not go back to this new disaster.

Good food, good vegan options - Edit
This is not really a vegetarian restaurant because they use parmesan, which is not vegetarian (as with most cured cheese, parmesan uses calves' rennet). So I was somewhat weirded out by that. Considering the amount of genuine vegan restaurants in Madrid and in this area, I would not come back tbh.
Read moreThat said, the food was good and the presentation as well. I tried the baos, the curry, and the "meat" pie. All very good and recommended.
