Don't give this place a miss! You will regret! - Edit
The staff are extremely friendly and the food is great. Been a few times and I have never had a dish that I did not like. The curries have loads of flavour, the breakfasts are divine, lovely sarnies, and their house made lemonade is absolutely delicious! Not too sweet! The puddings are also amazing! Had a chocolate tart that was rich and deep in flavour. The coffees are really nice as well, i like to grab an oatmilk caramel iced latte!

Lovely ambience early evening, pretty busy but somewhere I felt comfortable as a single diner. Food was perfectly fine. Very cheesy playlist being piped out didn’t really fit with the feel of the place but we’ll forgive them that

A Delight - Edit
Over the course of 3 days we ate here 3 times: Sunday lunch, breakfast the next day and lunch on day 3. We loved it. The food is flavoursome and creative. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Spacious and calm. We felt we could just as easily have gone for a coffee and a chill or for a full on special meal. The piped music can be a bit cheesy but on the whole was not too invasive.

Awesome - Edit
We have now been coming to Super Natural since 2018, since I was on maternity leave with our youngest. Its a very welcoming and relaxed place with lovely food options. Lots of variety and really well cooked and presented dishes. The menu changes often but retains some of its favs. A great place for brunch, lunch, dinner, or even just a coffee and cake. Staff are always lovely.

Simply delicious - Edit
We visited here for a takeaway sandwich, and wow it was so good! I had a ploughman's sandwich with a coffee and lemon cake- can never resist a vegan lemon desert option! My partner had the coronation chickpea sandwich and he loved it too. Definitely a must visit in Newcastle

Excellent find in Newcastle - Edit
Surprisingly had not been here before. An excellent, I think all vegan, restaurant/cafe. We got banana blossom fish and chips, and an artisan sandwich. Very reasonably priced for central Newcastle.

Gem of a place - Edit
I've been here a few times and I love it. I have never been disappointed. I also love going to a place where everything is vegan and you don't need to worry about what you are ordering. The place is clean, decorated lovely with great atmosphere. The owner is helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing. I had the glazed oyster mushroom banh mi. The flavours were amazing, the pickled Asian slaw was a taste sensation. I manged to squeeze in a lemon tart after which was delightful. Would recommend that everyone try Super Natural

While not labelled, most scone and baked items were vegan when asked about d/f options.

I declined heating the vg cheese scone as I don't like microwaved food but it would probably have been better heated.

I’ve been back here several times since my first review and just wanted to update on how incredible this place is. We went last night before our gig and the experience was out of this world. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and it turned out to be one of the more amazing dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was tremendous as always, and the atmosphere seems to get better with time.
I love dining here and it almost feels like eating with family rather than a bunch of people we don’t know. If I could give it more stars I would 10/10 experience.

Really varied menu and gorgeous setting - Edit
Super Natural Cafe is always a go to for me when eating in Newcastle. They have lots of different menu items, breakfasts, coffees and cocktails with plenty of variety. The food is fairly priced and never disappoints. The beautiful lighting and super welcoming staff make this a lovely place to visit and it’s right near central station too.

Bland food - Edit
I’ve had some ok meals here, others have been a disappointment. I found the all day breakfast was just potato overload, and the one tasty thing on the plate (tofu scramble) had the least amount. They should add tofu scramble on toast as an option as the breakfast menu is limited. I ordered a Matcha latte which I think they must’ve forgotten to add the matcha to or only added a small amount the colour is usually green it was totally bland. This came to an expensive £17 and pennies and definitely wasn’t worth it. The Good Apple in Sunderland is unbeatable for a full vegan breakfast if anyone reads this and gets a chance to visit.
Read morePros: Nice surroundings , Service
Cons: Really weak matcha latte - totally bland , Pricey , All day breakfast is just full of potatoes
hack_man
Completely agree. The all day breakfast I had a couple of years ago was bland and overloaded with potatoes as was the VG lasagne. All dishes regardless of what they were including curries also came with a chickpea salad side dish which hardly anyone touched. Haven’t been back since but still good to see it doing well as it’s always busy.

I have had a couple of tasteless meals here now, personally I think their menu is too big, they should focus on changing their menu- it’s old and tired now, the specials are usually all I go for, but I ordered some buffalo shrooms from it before and they were just bland batter and I couldn’t find the shrooms unbelievably. I’m gradually giving up on this place tbh.
