Decent Fast Food in Central Location - Edit
I'm actually surprised that people are complaining about the staff. When I went with my friend, the guys working there were actually exceptionally friendly. I don't know if it's because my friend is Romanian and ordered everything in Romanian, but they were also very accommodating when they realized I didn't speak Romanian.
Read moreThe falafel is certainly not the best falafel I've ever had, but it's filling without making you feel disgusting. The place is open whenever you are hungry and in a central location, so I don't really know what else to ask for as a vegan.
I tried to go back there today, but they were closed. There's a sign at the door saying they will be closed from the 14th of July until the 15th of August, but even though it's the 16th today the place was completely closed.
Pros: Clean, Friendly staff, Good portions
Cons: Not cozy enough to stay there a long time

Great falafel - Edit
I had the super falafel wrap with houmous. It was great. The falafel moist and loads of salad. The tahini sauce was particularly tasty. You can eat in or take away. The lady didn't speak English but with pointing and smiling I got what I ordered. She was so helpful.

what they had was great - Edit
Delicious, authentic Arab tasting falafel sandwich. I reccomend the Super falafel with hummus. Much better than the falafel place the hostel reccomended.
Read moreUnfortunately they never had the baklava in stock the three time I went there so wasn't able to try it, and the one time I wanted a salad they didn't have any available, nor any fries. I have no reason so think they wouldn't be great too, just couldn't sample :(
Pros: Super falafel with hummus

The decor is nothing special, just a sort of snackbar idea.

delicious falafel but staff a little unfriendly - Edit
I went here with high hopes of a delicious falafel based meal and it was delivered. Yummy falafel wrap that was nice and filling. Good cheap prices for large servings. Only thing that brought this place down was the staff. I am totally okay if people don’t speak English, and the guy at the counter didn’t speak a word of it but ordering was okay as I just pointed to what I wanted. It was when I was waiting for it to be made that the lady making it, who very clearly knew I didn’t speak Romanian, asked me a question in Romanian and when I said I didn’t understand she yelled at me twice the same question. I don’t like to give bad reviews on staff because you don’t know if they are just having a bad day but I don’t appreciate being yelled at by someone.

Very nice food, excellent staff - Edit
I just had the Toasted Super Falafel sandwich to go and it was excellent - reminded me of NYC Falafel! Staff spoke English and understood me when I ordered. Was warmly welcomed - I will eat here again, for sure.

Food is ok, Service on the other hand... - Edit
I’ve visited this restaurant twice in the last few days and both times have felt very unwelcome.
Read moreThe first time we had a little trouble with the language barrier, rather then trying to find a solution, everytime I tried to speak the member of staff put his hand out and went ‘no’ cutting me off. Eventually we came to a mutual agreement that I would point, but not speak, at a menu. Having been plenty of places here that do not speak any English, I have been able to pick up on words and get an understanding from people. Here it felt like the second they heard me speak they lost interest.
However, I do have to say, considering veganism isn’t huge here, the food was good. Which lead me back the second time.
Hoping for a better experience I went in again 3 days later, the staff had changed and I was positive. I waited in line, once beginning to order I realised the member of staff was able to understand English. I ordered, but still received a very cold interaction, yet others were treated better. When my food was being given, the staff member suggested I took the food with me, I asked to eat in and she looked disappointed. Throughout the whole process I felt extremely uncomfortable.
The foods good, the staff aren’t.
Pros: good food, all vegan
Cons: staff are rude

very good - Edit
Friendly stuff speaking English. Tasty lentil soup and falafel dishes. I have seen special service collecting old oil - so I suspect they change oil often enough. Reasonable prices! The place is popular among locals.

Vegan falafel bowl - Edit
Fully vegan falafel shop. The falafel bowl is not amazing, basically only falafel, tahini and lettuce, however I asked the staff for extra vegetables and they packed it with tomatoes, pickles, beets and parsley which gave this bowl a complete upgrade!

Generous portion - Edit
We ordered the falafel wraps and found the side very generous! It was really nice and fresh and not oily at all. We also had baklavas and these were the best ones we ever had! Just a shame that the staff member who served us wasn't friendly at all.

Amazing wraps - Edit
I visited Super Falafel having read the reviews of other Happy Cow members. I was not disappointed. The Super Falafel wrap was delicious and very filling. The best wrap I have had in a long time. It was late and they were just closing but they still allowed me to stay to eat and promised not to rush me. I will be back.

Very good falafel! - Edit
I just ate here once and I really liked the falafel. The tabbouleh salad was a bit to condimented for me, but I was also glad to be able to order a cappuccino with soymilk. I will definitely go here again when I move to Bucharest.

Awesome initiative in the fast food business - Edit
I heard that this was the first 100% plant-based fast food in Romania, so I definitely had to have lunch there when I visited Bucharest.
Read moreThe place was very clean and spacious, a bit quiet, and I liked the writing on the walls (I think their motto was: "Give peas a chance").
I had a "super falafel" wrap and a cup of tea. The food was good (could've had more spices), filling, and quite cheap. They had several types of wraps, soups, and desserts such as baklava.
Pros: Pretty good food, and cheap

Food is good but poor service - Edit
I know that in Romania, it's pretty common to be a little bit "cold" at first, but boy... that restaurant's staff probably created the word. We did not feel welcome at all, more like bothering those ladies from their break. No Good morning, no good bye either, no smile at all and not really helpful when we struggled to understand what's in the salads/wraps as nothing's in english.
Read moreYet, the food was good. We tried the super falafel with hummus wrap and the tabouleh salad. Both very good. But I'd definitely recommend for people To go the the other "super falafel" restaurant which is in the old town, has the same food but with very nice staff.
Pros: food is good and pretty cheap
Cons: the staff could at least fake a smile and try to s

Truly super - Edit
I ordered the super falafel, which was true to its name - super. The sizable wrap was filled with falafel and pickled veggies that perfectly complemented one another. The bread itself was also really great - it was soft and had a great texture. I really enjoyed the meal here, and it was made even better by the fact that it was a phenomenal value - 10 lei for a veritable feast.

Read moreThe prices are more than affordable and i like the fact that they only serve vegan food.
My only concern is whether they use palm oil or not, the fries aren't too tasty and it might be from that

Cons: the hummus needs more lemon and garlic :, the fries aren't too tasty, they might use palm oil
