This was so good we came back twice in our three days in George Town - the most delicious food, with an absolutely HUGE range!! I only wish I could come back again to try even more!! Could not recommend this enough - the “climate maki” was my fav but truly everything we had was incredible!

Delicious and creative sushi - Edit
We tried various sushi which was well priced and delicious. Particularly recommend the mango sushi roll and the one with aubergine. Would like to go back to try their ramen soups.

Lovely sushi - Edit
Sushi was super nice, there are great sharing platters. The tempeh bites were different from how they looked like on the menu, but still good. Not the most economical option in Penang.

Great vegan Japanese food - Edit
We were confused as the menu is almost identical to a vegan Japanese place we went in KL, appears there's been some renaming/change of ownership and they were the same name originally. In any event, the food here was just as good and we enjoyed it just as much as our last meal of 2023.

There was such a selection of great Japanese food available, it was hard to limit what we ordered. I had the 'all in one'selectuon of sushi and they were all so flavoursome and tasty. Would really recommend going here and I'd definitely go back if we had more time here

My partner really fancied some veggie sushi and so I went along with it. I ended up really enjoying all the dishes! We shared fried tempeh, popcorn mushrooms, Jajjang ramen and a 6 piece sushi platter. All food was brilliant and I was surprised by the cost, only £14 / 76 ringett.

Having spent a month in Japan I can honestly say I had the BEST Japanese vegan food at SUPE Vegan I’ve ever had😄So good I went back three times! The set lunch is incredible value and so beautiful. The sushi is amazing - fresh, full of texture and flavour. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough, vegan or not. Get a cupcake if they have them on offer too!

We arrived in Malaysia after a month in Japan and honestly this is the best sushi we've ever tasted. In less than a week we ate here 3 times. The lunch buffet is especially good value. Any vegans in Penang are missing out if you don't try here.

Super SUPE! - Edit
SUPE has quickly become a regular for us… Japanese food that not only looks appetising, but is delicious and super healthy too. Love the tofu inari, curried tempeh, dumplings, tempura and especially the jealousy soup (ambrosia in a bowl). Their lemongrass/ginger tea is wonderfully spicy and accompanies the foods well. Thank you to our cheerful server Selene for her kindness and care.

The vegan sushi was delicious! 🍱 They offer more than just sushi as well but I haven’t tried it yet - it sure looked good on the table next to me 🤤 Service is quick and super friendly, food was served quickly and beautifully presented. The interior of the restaurant is simple and calming. Will be back! Only thing to improve: the sushi rice was very much overcooked and thus way more mushy than sushi rice is supposed to be

So lovely to be able to browse through an entire menu knowing it was fully vegan, especially it being sushi! I've been for dinner and had them delivered by Grab and both times the food has been wonderful. Deffo try the different sushi sets and the tempura ramen bowl!
