Best soup ever - Edit
This is a little hidden gem at Geysir, about 1.5 hrs from Reykjavik. If you're going to see the thermal springs and the Geysir, make sure you stop inside to get soup! I got the Kenya soup with a slice of bread and just ask for hummus instead of butter. The soup was a coconut base with beans and spices and it was incredible delicious. Even my omnivore friend agreed the soup was amazing. It's expensive (about $12 US) for a bowl of soup, but all food in Iceland is expensive. ** I actually don't remember seeing anything that wasn't vegetarian so I'm surprised this listing says they serve meat.
