GOD TIER COMFORT FOOD - Edit
Oh my god. This place is UNBELIEVABLY good. I got the Jefferson shrimp po’boy and my partner got the chicken and waffles. AMAZING. They use oyster mushrooms for fried chicken, which is hands down my favorite meat substitute. Not too sure about how the shrimp is made, but it has a great texture. Pricing is great as well. 10/10 totally recommend will be back all the time.

We got the 893 fried chicken which came with fried oyster mushrooms, cornbread, peach cobbler, and 3 sides which we got mac and cheese, greens, and yams. It's literally the best vegan fried chicken you can get. Everything else was very good too! And they were huge portions
Read moreWe also got the big sunshine which was home fries, tofu scramble, grits, and toast. The home fries were a bit greasy but besides it was all very good!
The portions were generous and the staff seemed nice!

I ordered steak and rice, the broccoli were all mushy, the sauce was awful, tasted like corn starch mixed with water, that’s it. The looks of the dish was not appetizing. The steak was the only thing that was passable. I could have gone to KFC and bought a plant based burger that tasted better and much cheaper.
Cons: Long wait for food, Expensive , Food tasted awful

I had their special which was fried “chicken” with THREE SIDES!! And corn bread!! And peach cobbler !!!
And a ginger/tumeric cold drink!!!
The crispy breaded “chicken” was incredible!! The oyster mushroom inside was so good!! I’ll definitely be back, with friends & family in tow.
It is so nice to have a real vegan meal!!
Pros: Food is so delicious!, Folks behind the counter are super nice!, They have a nice patio AND free parking!
Cons: My only regret is not coming here years ago!!

Incredible flavors and textures are so carefully crafted- we got the ribs and meatloaf entrees. Sides of jalapeño cornbread, greens, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were tasty classics. A shot of freshly juiced ginger and fresh cranberry lemonade were a bright end to a delicious meal. Easy to find location right off the highway too! We will be back!

The ribs were slammin!!! Idk what they used to make them.. seemed like a combo of impossible meat and veggies? Whatever it was, super flavorful and I loved the sides I picked too, mash potatoes and greens! Can’t wait to go back and try more!

This restaurant does have a small seating area, but I ordered online for pick up. I got the Niyah sandwich, which is the closest vegan thing I’ve ever eaten to a steak sub. Huge portion! Looks like they have so many other things to try so will be back.

It is more of a take-out atmosphere though!

For our entrees we got: the Jefferson (shrimp po boy), Cajun cheesy shrimp and grits. As sides: tofu scramble and ribs. Good lord, this food was good. The ribs were the best vegan ribs we’ve ever had, they tasted just like pork ribs with a slightly different texture. It’s been a long time since I’ve had cheesy grits, so I can’t say if they were comparable to the non vegan version, but they were delicious. Tofu scramble and po boy were yummy too! Plus, we got a free (delicious) smoothie and side of broccoli pasta salad seemingly because the person running the place was just super nice?? The portions were large and well priced, I would highly recommend!!

1st time here. Parking available in lot. Indoor dining available. Variety of items available. I tried the street tacos which come in a group of three. Good serving size reasonably priced. I would say they lack a little bit of flavor. I also had the sliders. Again good serving size reasonably priced. Comes with fries. Again a little bit lacking in flavor. Nothing bad about them at all. Just nothing extraordinary. I would come back here next in the area because it smells great, they have a variety of food options, and what I tasted so far I was happy with.

We got the 893 fried chicken with 3 sides. The chicken was great. Brilliant idea to use the oyster mushrooms the way they do and the batter was perfect. By far the best vegan fried chicken I’ve had. We got mashed potatoes, greens, and Mac n cheese. All were great. Combining the greens and Mac n cheese made for a super tasty bite. The price was reasonable. Plenty of food for two hungry people.

Plantain tacos! - Edit
My partner and I dropped by, looking for a quick lunch before crossing into Canada. So glad we stumbled on this place!! We both had the plantain tacos and loved them. The portion was generous, the sauce was plentiful. I doubt I’ll have occasion to be back in Buffalo anytime soon, but I will be thinking about those tacos for a while. Yumm.

Everything we ordered was great! We live two hours away, and the vegan wings alone were worth the trip. Where else but Buffalo would you expect to get great wings?
Read moreThis was our first visit here, so we wanted to try out a lot of things. Besides the wings, we got an Impossible Pastelillo as an appetizer, for entrees we got The Legendary Fish Sandwich and The Jefferson - their 'shrimp' Po'boy, and for a side got the Mac & 'Cheese.'
We could have made a meal alone with all the wings, but the entrees were good sized with a generous helping of hand-cut French fries. The service was fast and the staff very friendly.
This is definitely on our list for future visits, and we're going to recommend it to our local vegan dinner group.
Pros: Excellent food, Generous portions, Good prices
Cons: Not a great atmosphere - but who cares?

The hoagie was really flavourful and the fries were tasty.
The artichoke 'fish' in The Big Fred were inventive and the crispy coating was lovely; the tartar sauce was delicious. For me, the cornbread was a bit too sweet and was more of a dessert vs a side.
We sat outside which was nice on a sunny day. The inside is a bit drab, and the gloomy staff were taking up most of the seating area.
Pros: Creative artichoke fish., Great portion sizes., Tasty steak hoagie.
Cons: Cornbread was too sweet for me., Not very friendly staff.
