I really like this store. Only store I can remember that keeps all the grains, nuts and seeds refrigerated.

Excellent organic juice bar with sugar-free smoothies. No mainstream markets offer anything like it.

The prepared foods they make found in the dairy case are the best. Hummus is A-1, Salsa and Raw sauerkraut likewise.
The store made granola smells & tastes fantastic

Small but has most of my basics. Only yogurt they carry is whole milk....what a concept, a whole food.

Not Happy With Grocery Store - Edit

We bought some groceries here and went home to find they were either moldy (the organic blueberries) or about to expire (the box of crackers). Food was expensive and expiration dates were hard to find or almost past date. Staff were nice about accepting returns.
Decided to go to Safeway (http://local.safeway.com/or/grants-pass-290.html?utm_source=G&utm_medium=Maps&utm_campaign=G+Places) instead, and found fresher produce and decent selection of vegan groceries, including Smart Ground (http://www.lightlife.com/Vegan-Food-Vegetarian-Diet/Smart-Grounds-Original).

Pros: Some vegan food options.

Cons: Dark., Questionable expiration dates., Moldy blueberries.

organic goddess 02 Jul 2013 - Spoilage happens. I always carefully visually inspect fresh produce before buying. It's common sense.

There are many great reasons to avoid eating meat, but eating gmo soy beans bathed in hexane (the textured soy protein in smart grounds) is a really bad alternative. I obviously don't share
this reviewers values. Eating & shopping for GMO foods from Safeway is not my cup of herbal tea.

I'll take the locally owned, mom & pop, dedicated to organics & non-gmo every day of the week.
