Some of the best food I tasted in Burma

We stumbled apon this place by accident and ended up coming everyday after that.
Samsoe the owner is such a nice guy who makes you feel very welcome. On top of that the food is delicious. I ate the tea leaf salad and veg curry mostly. Samsoe was happy to make our food vegan is well which made the experience even better.
The food is very affordable too a must visit for anyone staying around Inle lake

Pros: Warm friendly service , Beautiful view , Great Value

Cons: None

Amazing Food, Beautiful View, Perfect Customer Service

We came across Sun Rays whilst searching for somewhere to watch the sunset.

Welcoming us was ‘Samsoe’ a kind and friendly gentleman who speaks good English. Searching the menu we asked if anything could be made Vegan which he had good Knowledge in and adapted the menu accordingly.

The price of the food is amazing when compared to the quality.

We have visited Sun Rays everyday since finding this gem of a restaurant and highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Enjoy :)

Pros: Quality food, Amazing food, Very friendly and helpful service

Local Burmese food at its best

Our friends kindly showed us Sun’s rays and we were so happy with the food and service that we came here everyday for lunch:)The owner is sooooo lovely and food is incredibly tasty. He cooks all the meals with love and passion There are lots of vegan veg curries and salads on the menu. Our favourites were egg plant, carrot, cucumber and tea leaf salads and vegetable curry. All made from fresh ingredients and packed with flavour. I would give it 5starts if I couldSun’s rays was our local for a week and we were never disappointed. We can’t recommend this place enough. Also if you’re after something sweet try asking for fried banana with sugar(or honey if veg:) it’s the best pudding to top off your meal PS: the location is right. There isn’t any street number so just go across the bridge and it’s on the right side

Pros: Vegan&vegetarian friendly , Amazing owner who is interested in veganism&veg, Beautiful views

Cons: None ;)
