Hard to find

Food was good.
Serving on the smaller side.
Most on the menu is veganisable. They got things like vegan mayo. Which was very thick and creamy.
Do not look for it with the Happy Cow map (Dec 2025). I spent way too much time looking for it, to find it about 10-15 min walk south from where it says in Happy Cow. I informed the staff but they did not know of Happy Cow, so we'll see.

Nice place, very friendly

Great selection for vegans and staff knows their menu :). Had the pancakes (not all toppings are vegan) and was very filling, quite heavy and could have been baked a bit longer, but still good. Coffee was not really foamy with soy milk, but also tasted good.

Best avo toast we had in hikkaduwa

Avo toast was delicious with most toppings ! Can get the spinach vegan. Had the vegan pancakes too and banana blossom burger - both were good! (You can’t get the mushroom burger vegan as they’ve already been battered). We went 3 times - would recommend ! Friendly staff too and nice environment. Coffee and matcha is good too.

Lovely cafe and staff

Veggie place with super friendly staff. The vegan pancakes are delicious and huge portion, and fun to add your own choice of sauces and fruit. The smoothie bowl was great too. The savoury bowls were not as good (eg Mexican and mushroom one) but when I said I wanted it vegan, they gave me some vegan mayo instead of yoghurt, which was very thoughtful of them. However , please note - the coffee with soya milk was VERY bad. The soy milk they use is sickly sweet and combined with the coffee makes a very unpleasant taste. My partner says a regular milk coffee is fine.

Favorite breakfast spot! ✨

Our favorite cafe for breakfast. Amazing smoothie bowls, perfect consistency, nice serving. A lot of vegan options, cute little shop within the cafe. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Fair price as well.

Good vibes and tasty pancakes

I had the vegan pancakes and the passion fruit soda. Both were very good in satisfying. Vegan Pancakes come with a side of honey (separate in a glass) maybe specify when you order that you don’t need it.
Location is nice and staff is friendly. Food is on the more pricy side for Sri Lanka (2000 Pancakes 500 Soda 10% Service charge). To me, it was worth it though😄

Nice casual spot

Nice casual spot for juice, snacks or lunch. Wonderfully friendly staff.

Pros: Lovely staff, Vegan pancakes 😊

Cons: Smaller vegan menu off-season

Nice little place with great food

I was here for a quick lunch after diving and it was amazing. The staff was absolutely kind, the place is very clean. I’ve had the Borrito Bowl, they had vegan Mayo to make it alle vegan. Awesome!
I will definitely be back.

PS: it’s the first place in SL that they handed me salt and pepper without prior asking for it.😄

Delicious and nivce portion

The staff is super friendly and helpfull. We had the banana flower burger (veganised). It was realy tasty. Cant wait to try out something for breakfast. They have many options including pancakes and bowls that have vegan options.

Pros: Nice atmosphere/staff, They know what vegan means, Many options

Cons: Needs vegan desserts, The blender is a bit loud when sitting inside.

Perfektes Frühstück

Wir hatten Avocadotoast mit gerösteten Tomaten und Spinat. Es kann zwischen dunklem und hellem Brot gewählt werden. Gewürze werden separat serviert. Zwar ist es ein bisschen teurer, aber es lohnt sich! Es hat fantastisch geschmeckt und es gibt ebenfalls guten Kaffee.

Great vibes and food

This is such a cool place to hang out, have a coffee, a green choice and a healthy dish. The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is cozy and peaceful.

Not a bad option

Cafe is vegetarian but has a few vegan options of a more "healthy" variety. I've had the Burrito bowl and the avocado toast with tomato and wilted spinach. I didn't specify vegan when i ordered the spinach and realised as they served it they used butter (my mistake). Would love to see more vegan options. Food is definitely good but not mind blowing. I would still reattend though!

Pros: Food was pretty good

Cons: Not many vegan options

Great food and great staff

We ate breakfast here every day for a week. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff are really friendly and most items can be made vegan (including the mushrooms on toast).

They have proper coffee and coconut milk to go with it. Food also comes out very quickly. Favourite place in Hikkaduwa

Please note the map location is wrong on happy cow. Use the address 408 Galle Rd (next to Tiki Burger)
