Everything I've tried from the bakery has been good: the cupcakes, cookies, scones, and rice crispy are all so good.
Read moreThe pizza rolls are also pretty good, and the meatball sub was tasty. only thing negative i can say is the lack of sides, especially when it comes to chips: plain potato is all they had when i last ordered.

We stopped for a meal before flying out Nashville International. We had the gouda burger, curried cauliflower, tomato bisque, and pickled veg. The burger and cauliflower were my favorite! The bisque was a little underwhelming.

I absolutely loved my visit to Sunflower Bakehouse! The staff was all so kind and seemed to love their job and love each other. I ordered the Sunflower Cali and added tofu bacon with the cucumber salad as my side. Everything was delicious but the bread, for me, was the star of the show. I ordered a loaf to be picked up another day. The focaccia is such a treat!! I toasted it at home and added their sunflower pesto to it and, well, I ate a third of it in one sitting. This will for sure be a new regular spot for me!

Traveler’s vegan paradise - mind blowing - Edit
This is a MUST stop if you are traveling through Nashville. We often drive Chicago to Florida and this was our first time here. We can’t believe how many awesome meal options, drink options and tons of bakery there is to choose from. We all 3 loved our lunch so much. My son (non-veg) said he was surprised how much he loved the Mac n cheeze. The sausage roll he had with it also was so delicious. My husband had the Bahn Mi with pickled veggies for the side—so amazing. The tomato bisque was also very good. We decided it was all so good that we bought 3 pot pies (you can request unbaked to make later) and a large Kale Caesar salad to put in the cooler and have for dinner at our next stop with non-veg family. They also have “grab and go” overnight oats in 2 flavors that we picked up and put in the cooler for breakfast tomorrow. Last but not least, the German chocolate upside down cake was incredibly delicious - my husband said “this is what I want for my birthday cake next time”.

I’ve been coming here for over 6 years and it is always amazing. The salads are really big. The burger of the month is always delicious, the pastries are all gluten free and change seasonally. One of my favorites. Drinks are also delicious- I love the turmeric chai latte and the chocolacado smoothie!

I was overwhelmed and wanted to try everything. I went for the meatball melt with pickled veggies as my side. It was extremely tasty. Then I wanted something sweet. I had a peanut butter frosted & a lemon frosted cookie. Both were amazing. Would love to come back and try others.

I am allergic to milk and eggs, so there is not many options for where I live, but when I went to Nashville, I was surprised! It is 100% vegan and was so good I couldn’t stop eating! I totally recommend this place for vegans.

The cutest all vegan bakery restaurant. They have a full savory food menu, smoothie menu and a gluten free vegan bakery and coffee shop. We stopped in for soy lattes and ended up with a bag of gluten free vegan cupcakes and muffins. Stand outs for us were the carrot cake cupcakes and banana nut muffins. Next time we want to come hungry and try and try the chocolate cheesecake filled cupcakes and scones.

My husband doesn’t care much for coconut and we were fork fighting for the last bite. If you want to take cupcakes home with you, call and make sure they’re being served that day as their baked goods menu rotates. We also ate breakfast here one morning. I enjoyed my “Egg McMuffin” but was not impressed with their “bacon”.

I went here for my birthday, and I've already returned at least twice. I've had the meatball sub, the breakfast omelet bake, and 2-3 cupcakes, a maple pecan scone, and a German chocolate cake. Everything has been incredible. They also have tea, coffee, and kombucha options! So yummy!

Friendly and patient staff. Had an excellent menu - everything sounded good, and took me some time to decide. Went with a light sandwich (sunflower) and matcha tea. Meal was excellent, and i felt great afterwards. Family had the TBLT and foccocia bake - which they loved and recommended 5stars. Location was close to Opry land in Nashville with plenty of space to dine. Also had many baked goods to choose from. Sunflower was a great choice for us.

We went back 3 times while in Nashville…everything we had was sooo gooood! I got the breakfast sandwich with EVERYTHING and it was nothing short of amazing. Doesn’t really fit in your mouth because it’s so tall so if that would be embarrassing rather than humorous order it smaller. The blueberry breakfast bake was outstanding. The cupcakes amazing but the German chocolate cake was literally epic with the most amazing crunch on top! We also had the chick pea chick’n salad which was excellent (I got that twice) and hubs got some kind of Thai noodle salad twice as well.

We stopped here for breakfast before leaving Nashville. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Hubby got the omelet biscuit bake. His was yummy! I ended up combining mine with his as I had so much gravy! Very good. Where they really got us, however, was the bakery options. Our diet is shot. We got an apple pie cupcake, blueberry muffin, banana nut muffin, and a cookie dough parfait! Haven't eaten those yet but they look absolutely amazing. What a treat this place is!

Read moreThe chocolate dream cupcake I had was the BEST VGF cupcake I've ever had. It was moist and fluffy, but not dense or wet. Nice flavour, not too sweet and no chemical icing.
I had the Bahn Mi sandwich, on homemade gf baguette was amazing.
The Caesar salad was great too.
Staff super nice as well.
Will be back next time in Nashville for sure.

Sunflower Bakehouse has a large 100% vegan menu including gluten free bakery items, coffees, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, burgers, soups and specials- you won’t be going hungry here! The staff was attentive, kind & helpful in deciding what to try, which is great because there are so many delicious options! Both the German chocolate upside down cake and the lavender vanilla cupcake were SO GOOD and were the perfect ending to a kale Caesar salad & diner burger lunch.

The desserts are out of this world… absolutely amazing. Great selection, taste, texture, and presentation. My daughter loved her breakfast biscuit sandwich. I had the sunflower cali sandwich and it was perfect. Full of fresh veggies and the focaccia bread was excellent. It was tough to choose from all of the desserts so the guy at the counter helped. My daughter chose the strawberry cupcake and she said it was the best cupcake she has ever had. The guy at the counter suggested the upside down German chocolate cake. My mouth is still watering! The cake was so moist and soft and the toppings were super rich. The employees are very friendly and the restaurant is absolutely adorable. It was an old muffler shop and they have decorated the space beautifully. We can’t wait to come back for dinner tonight!
