Vegan options at the market

Actually spelled 'Zonia' (I'll try to update it) she bakes lot of vegan fare, including gluten free breads, wraps, cakes, cookies etc. She is at Holder's Hill market every Sunday and also at a couple other markets during the week. You can make orders with her via email (Chiaseeds23@gmail.com) and she makes deliveries on Fridays, well worth it if you're on the Island for more than a week! Very good value, healthy vegan food.

Pros: Healthy baked vegan goods, Very good value for money, no refined sugar etc, organic

Cons: not purely vegan (uses honey in some), not making raw anymore

best vegan desserts on barbados

We spend one month in Barbados, and luckily discovered Sonjas stand on the farmers market on holders hill in the first couple of days. Not only does she make the best vegan gluten free desserts I have ever tried, she also sells some amazing organic salads, kale and so on. We went there every sunday, just to see her! She has a wide range of desserts: her brownies are to die for, her quasaba pie is incredibly moist, and her molasses chocolate cupcakes are the most delicious ones ever. The market is a little difficult to find, just follow the road up the hill and look out for a street sign.

Pros: gluten free, vegan , wide range, very high quality, low price, very friendly

Cons: only on sundays
