clean/fancy from the inside but weird vibes - Edit
everything started well, friendly welcome and we just wanted to get a coffee. we ordered two coffees (they seemingly only have coconut milk). The waiters all spoke english so that was great. There was also a western looking guy (maybe boss) working there and spookin around the restaurant all the time and giving weird looks.
Read morea minute after we ordered, a waiter came back asking if we wanted anything to eat and was very persistent with it. i was like nah just coffee. they said there is a 400twd per person minimum spend rule. We didn't see anything about that on the menu. We left asap after and went to a coffee shop around the corner which was MUCH better than this one.
The Coffee was a 4/10

Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry your visit didn’t meet your expectations. I’d like to clarify that we are a restaurant, not a coffee shop, and, as is common practice in mid-range restaurants in Taiwan, we do have a minimum order requirement due to limited seating and it says it on every page of our menu. It seems this may have been the source of confusion during your visit, as our staff did try to explain the policy and weren't sure how to respond to "nah."
Read moreIt’s a little unfortunate to see a review based on not meeting that requirement rather than on the food itself, especially as you didn’t have the chance to experience almost the entirety of our menu.
