Great buffet - Edit
Given the very few options in the city this place was a life saver.
Read moreThe dishes are overall tasty. Some more than others. You can even ask for vegan soy ice cream for dessert (it's not available every day though).
And for only around 30 yuan it's very cheap.

Easy to find, Google Maps' location is accurate.
Read morePay at the entrance (23 per person, very cheap !) and they give you a plate for the buffet. There are lots of options and the food is nice ! You can also choose a free drink.
Filled with locals enjoying the food, the restaurant has a second floor with more tables. Free refills.
Closes at 8:30 pm so come early !

First point to note is that at the time of writing the location is correct on Google maps but my advice for China is to use Amap to double check. The name in Chinese taken from Amap is 素满香素食自助餐厅·素宴(民乐园店).
Read moreThe restaurant itself is wonderful. Busy, with lots of locals but the staff spoke basic English to instruct us, and were incredibly welcoming. They made us feel at home and ensured we knew how to navigate the buffet style set up.
There are a huge amount of dishes to choose from, with a lot of classic Chinese favourites. Basic drinks (water, tea etc) are also included but you can also pay for other options.
The food itself was delicious. Quite simple but every dish we tried was great, and a good mix to suit any taste.
The price is also crazy. 21 rmb per person for dinner. Not sure we've had a cheaper meal here - certainly not for the amount of food available.
I would recommend getting there for an early dinner as we arrived around 7pm and they were out of a few options. Still plenty left but come earlier to get the full range.
