Pretty good

I visited here in July 2022. It admittedly wasn't my first choice of a restaurant, but it was late at night, and I was hungry and wanted something close to where my lodging was. It was decent. I had the falafel platter, and the falafels came with three sides. The sides I chose were hummus, rice, and a green vegetable mix that I forgot the name of.

A staple.

I have been going to Sultan for years with friends and family. When I was still vegetarian, I used to always get the falafel shoarma and drown it in their garlic and red sauce. As a vegan now, I wish they’d make the naan wrap for the shoarma vegan, as well as the garlic sauce because the falafel shoarma was the best thing I ever had. Usually now I get the falafel platter, but it just doesn’t hit as hard as the falafel shoarma. Their hummus is my favorite out of all other places. But I’d definitely love to get a fully vegam version of the falafel shoarma with the sauces.

Pros: Great food

Cons: Limited options

Flavourful food

Really tasty food for a good price. We enjoyed the lentil soup and the falafel wrap, these were definitely prepared with care. You also get a good quantity of food. Their sangria is also very nice. Enough vegan options.

Pros: Quantity, Spices, Decor

Cons: Slightly awkward staff

Great vegan dessert!

My husband and I had a great dinner today at the new Palm Beach location. It was a little closer to our lodging but the menu is the same, just that the one in Tarabana is open also for lunch. We had fattoush (do not recommend this, not very flavorful), but then the vegetarian combo (made vegan at our request) and a fantastic vegan dessert (rose water and cardamom coconut custard) made up for my initial disappointment. The hummus and babaganoush were tasty and authentic, as was the falafel and tabouli, and the dessert is huge (we shared the platter and the dessert) and so tasty! Overall highly recommended.

Pros: Many vegan options , Friendly staff

Cons: Serves meat

Amazing experience

This place wasn’t on our radar when we arrived but it was close to our hotel so we stopped in after reading the Happy Cow reviews. So glad we did!!!! The people were so friendly and helpful with our vegan requests. The food was spectacular. Best Babaganoush we’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious

This place is heaven on earth. We are vegans and we took the falafel platters with wonderful arabic rice, fresh taboulé and a dream of hummus. The best falafel balls ever. The cook is from syria. The waiters are the sweetest person on earth. Thank you for your hospitality. We will be soon back.

Pros: vegan food like hummus, falafel, taboulé, salads and other things, arabic furniture and music, coffee & tea
