The best restaurant in Glasgow, vegan or otherwise!

I’m not vegan but my husband is and this is by far our favourite place in Glasgow. The staff are amazing. The food is incredible. It’s such a cute venue and an amazing atmosphere. I dream of the curry laksa constantly. We have made it a bit of a family tradition to go here on Christmas Eve for the amazing salt and chilli Brussel sprouts (I look forward to them all year!) even if you’re not a vegan, do yourself a favour and run, don’t walk, to Suissi

Pros: The staff (super friendly and lovely people), The curry laksa (and everything else on the menu!), Location (we are lucky to have this in the west!)

Excellent

I found the place by accident. Popped in for some lunch and it was 10/10 for me. The menu is wide and varied. The food was delicious and the rainbow rice was perfect on its own. The restaurant area is stylish and has a classy feel - perfect atmosphere for evenings.

Fabulously fresh

Amazing fresh, aromatic, beautifully presented vegan food. No mock meats, just fresh veg and tofu.. prepared in ways that surprised & treated us. Can’t wait to come back.

Pros: Fresh & tasty Chinese food, not stodgy, Easy access from Partick station, Not a trad British Chinese experience

Cons: Wine only by the bottle, No card payment despite window stating so, Dishes not marked for spiciness

Delicious

boyfriend and I went down here during opening week and loved absolutely everything. We’ve now been 3 times in the past 6 weeks since it opened! Through all our visits the stand out dishes were (though it’s truly hard to narrow it down!) the spicy sour soup with ramen noodles, Gan Lau Mee and the veggie gyoza! Tofu dishes are also so good and the salt and chilli chips.... just everything

Pros: Good value, Everything tastes great

Delicious fresh food, friendly service

Can't recommend enough. Tried the satay skewers, salt and chilli tofu, rainbow fried rice and the rendang curry. Everything was fresh, really good veg and delicious tofu. Friendly people too, good service, go eat!

Note they don't currently take cards, but theres a cash machine nearby.

Birthday dinner

Went as a family for a joint birthday meal. Very much enjoyed our meal, delicious pan Asian food. It was a bit spicy for me but ok for the rest of the family. The young men serving us were very friendly and accommodating.

I would have liked a drinks menu including soft drinks and the desserts were quite small although flavour was delicious.

Will definitely go back!

Pros: Flavourful and interesting food , Helpful and friendly staff, Nice interior and good atmosphere

Cons: Would like to see drinks menu, More detail on regular menu, Desserts a bit small

Nowhere like this....exceptional

The restaurant looks beautiful and my soup noodles and jasmine tea tasted like the authentic Asian cuisine I ate living in Asia. This food had an extra homely quality, definitely made with love and expertise. I left the restaurant feeling like I had visited my Grandmother's house, being fed her secret recipes. I can't wait to return.

Pros: Decent portions and fresh ingredients, Reasonable price, Good selection

Cons: None, None, None

A really enjoyable lunch.

We went for early lunch, mid week, and on a wet day. It was very quiet, but we were told they are often busy, especially at weekends. The menu provided lots of choice, and the food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Service was prompt and hospitable. The interior is more spacious than might be expected from the outside, and pleasing in an understated sort of way.

Pros: Excellent menu, with lots of choice , Food excellent and generous portions, Welcoming staff and pleasing ambience

Cons: Some distance from city centre, Dumbarton Rd on a wet day looks a bit miserable!

Tasty!

Tasty food! We got the Hot and Sour Tofu curry which was my favourite, also the Veggie Gyoza which was very crispy yum, and the rainbow rice (ok) and the oyster mushroom curry (tasty but the mushrooms were so deep fried they didn't taste like mushrooms anymore). I got the rose tea which was delicious and it was presented beautifully (I've attached some photos). I'm really happy to have a vegan place so.close to my flat now!

Pros: All vegan , The tea presentation , They've got Fentimans drinks!

Cons: No windows in restaurant , Too many large chunks of onion in most dishes

Great new vegan restaurant

My partner and I came here on their second night opening and it was fantastic. The restaurant is really pretty, the staff were very helpful and best of all the food was amazing. We ordered the pad Thai, Raman laksa, salt and chilli tofu and satay skewers and it was all perfect. We will definitely be back soon.

Pros: All vegan, Authentic/ not fake meat, Very tasty food
