The best restaurant in Glasgow, vegan or otherwise! - Edit
I’m not vegan but my husband is and this is by far our favourite place in Glasgow. The staff are amazing. The food is incredible. It’s such a cute venue and an amazing atmosphere. I dream of the curry laksa constantly. We have made it a bit of a family tradition to go here on Christmas Eve for the amazing salt and chilli Brussel sprouts (I look forward to them all year!) even if you’re not a vegan, do yourself a favour and run, don’t walk, to Suissi

This is some of the best vegan food I’ve had. The choices were an amazing start, its rare to have such an extensive menu fully vegan. The actual food tasted incredible, amazing flavours! All of that for a very reasonable priced meal and super helpful and friendly staff.

I ordered via vegan wheels during what I imagine is peak time on a Saturday night and had my food within the hour. The delivery driver was extremely friendly and food well packaged. The food was amazing and very flavourful. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant to eat in. Thanks!

We ate our way through Glasgow for 5 days and Suissi is definitely our fave. Everything we had was delicious, the tofu was brilliant and even the rainbow rice was great, even though it's just to accompany a main... Staff were all super friendly (they built a highchair right there for us) and I think we'd be regulars if we lived nearby. It's definitely worth a visit!

This is the nicest takeaway I've ever had. Everything is made with love and care, every time we order we try a new dish and every single one is delicious. The lion's mane mushroom in particular was something I'd never had before and it is such a lovely flavour and texture. Gluten free options as well.

This was such a treat. We love Asian food but it can be a minefield with non vegan ingredients. It was wonderful to be able to relax, knowing everything was vegan.

Fantastic place, well worth the walk out of the centre of Glasgow! A must for any trip to west of Scotland.

I have wanted to go to Suissi for well over a year, so the hype was real and it has surpassed my expectations. They managed to fit my partner and I in for a super last minute booking. Service was fantastic, cocktails were tasty and the food is quite probably some of the tastiest food I’ve ever had. I’ve not been vegan for very long, so have been struggling to find places that fill the cravings for flavours I grew up with as a lot of vegan places think vegan means “food that tastes like the colour green”, but this place has knocked it out the park. 5000% recommend!

Lovely setup, nice ambience and amazing food. The Lotus starter is a must if you like crisps. The service is amazing. Me and my partner had great food experience in this place. Experienced new mushroom types ( Lion’s main and trumpet mushrooms) which usually are quite expensive but surprisingly the dishes were full of them and not as pricey. We’ve ordered the same tea and theY offered us a bigger pot for two people which it been topped for free and on the bill charged just once. Definitely, recommend this place if you want to try some wonderful food. A good reason to visit again Glasgow and this place to try other dishes.

A brilliant restaurant well worth going a little further out of the centre for, a wide variety of flavours available and staff who can give a good idea of taste if you arent sure yourself. Well priced food ( 3 starters, 2 mains with chips and rice, 2 drinks and one dessert) costing roughly £50 for the meal, decent portions which left us full.

My partner and I had the rendang curry and sczechuan tofu with tofu parcels to start and jasmine rice and salt & chilli chips. Absolutely delicious. So flavourful and interesting. Great service too.

Wow, where do I begin? On entry I'm welcomed by Suissi's staff, they're friendly and helpful, you can tell that this team has been carefully chosen.
Read moreI ordered Lotus root crisps, gyozas, and stuffed chillis, absolutely delicious. For mains I ordered Spicy Sour noodle soup, and this is packed with flavour (much like everything I ordered!). My partner ordered the Rendang Curry which had so many lovely textures from the mushrooms! Finally, I can't believe how creamy the vegan ice cream is, and all of it is created by the Suissi kitchen. Truly superb.
Not to forget, if you eat here, absolutely try one of the cocktails. I love the Matcha Martini, it's fresh and a delicate matcha flavour. My partner also ordered an Expresso Martini - wowow! The cocktails are beautifully balanced. We couldn't ask for more.
We are not vegan, and we will definitely be back!

So because the wonderful Lotus is closed atm I was extremely pleased to find another 100% vegan Chinese takeaway in Glasgow. The black bean tofu and the salt and chilli chips were particularly delicious. Everything I ordered was full of flavour and fresh, generous portion sizes too 💚

We were a walk-in at 6pm, many tables booked at 7pm and the waiter squeezed us in, but we didn’t feel rushed. Service was very quick and the food was amazing. We shared a bao bun, husband had pad thai and I had udon noodles in miso. The only negative is we live in Yorkshire and can’t come more often! We will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great restaurant. We tried the lotus roots and pickled black beans, the tofu parcels, the satay tofu, the jingdu oyster mushrooms, the fried tofu in black bean sauce and the rainbow fried rice. I also had the pandan old fashioned. Everything was great but the Jingdu mushrooms and the pandas old fashioned were particularly amazing. Not to mention the service was great. I hope to be back!

Wow, wow, wow. Me and my partner received vouchers to visit this wee gem for his birthday and were both completely blown away by the delicious food that arrived at the table — and haven’t been able to stop raving about it in the weeks that have passed since. I had the Rendang Curry with Lion Mane Mushroom (which are something I haven’t tried before and they added a great texture to the meal) and we shared the wontons and gyoza’s for a starter. We’ll definitely be back, and look forward to trying out the rest of the divinity that is this menu!!

Travelled from Aberdeen to visit Suissi and wasn’t disappointed! The staff were super friendly and the decor was lovely. Then there was the food - where do I start? WOW - faultless! Took my omni boyfriend and he hasn’t stopped raving about it and is desperate to go back. Wish we lived closer!
