The best restaurant in Glasgow, vegan or otherwise! - Edit
I’m not vegan but my husband is and this is by far our favourite place in Glasgow. The staff are amazing. The food is incredible. It’s such a cute venue and an amazing atmosphere. I dream of the curry laksa constantly. We have made it a bit of a family tradition to go here on Christmas Eve for the amazing salt and chilli Brussel sprouts (I look forward to them all year!) even if you’re not a vegan, do yourself a favour and run, don’t walk, to Suissi

Good Takeaway Food - Edit
I ordered a delivery from here and the food was tasty and clean. It tasted like a standard Chinese takeaway but the knowledge that everything is vegan is just fantastic and far and few between in the UK.
Read moreSo nice to order a Chinese takeout and be able to trust that there is no cross contamination in the kitchen. I would 100% eat here again.
Pros: Clean food, All vegan

I went with my girlfriend the other week and she had the 'King Trumpet Katsu Curry' which she loved! I also loved it as I stole some of hers 😆 I went for the 'Homemade Mixed Vegetables Curry' which was fantastic!
We had some of the Mango and Passionfruit ice cream as well as some pancakes! My partner went for the coconut pancake and I went for the banana one 😁 Delicious!
Can't wait to go back 🤩 If you're reading this...don't wait...just go! Now 😃

Just fab. - Edit
I’ve been meaning to come to Suissi for years but never quite got around to it, with its location outside the city centre. What a mistake! We came along tonight before a gig and were delighted with the food - excellent options, quality and taste. We had 2 starters, 3 mains with rice and 2 desserts which was a perfect quantity for the two of us and came to £56 which seemed excellent value.
Read moreThe rendang with lions mane mushrooms was particularly good as was my coconut pancake and there are many more options on the menu to lure us back in future. Staff were lovely too. Definitely the top vegan restaurant in Glasgow.

Authentic and delicious Malaysian food - Edit
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good music. Booking is a must. Great menu with lots of great options to choose from. We got a lions mane mushroom rendang, jasmine rice, laksa tofu noodle soup, starter of tempeh crisps (moorish) and a coconut pancake dessert which was a nice end to the meal. I had a lemongrass tea (which came in a tiny pot). The food was so flavourful, just the right amount of spice, and was authentic Malaysian food (we were in malaysia recently so can vouch for this). Would be high on my list of places to visit again

The best vegan restaurant in Glasgow - Edit
I have been going to this restaurant for over a year now and have never been disappointed, hands down the best vegan spot in Glasgow. Diverse range of Asian dishes, every one superb and well portioned! Also fantastic service for such a popular spot.

I basically have to crawl out of there every time we go as I can’t stop myself from ordering and finishing everything on the menu.

Hit the spot - Edit
Five star for being one of the only places I could find in Glasgow that explicitly states which food contains wheat/gluten or not.
Read moreAlso for generally making all-vegan meals focused on vegetables and tofu, using high quality ingredients. There is too much vegan junk food in Glasgow.
I ordered the sweet and sour king trumpet mushrooms, jasmine rice, pak choi and tofu parcels, but there were so many dishes I wanted to try such as the clay pot tofu and noodle dishes. I also had the GF pineapple fritter.
I was so hungry and tired, so I got a takeaway and it was a relief to eat a decent meal. If I hadn't been on my own I'd have dined in. I especially liked the pak choi and the tofu parcels were refreshing. The environment was really cosy too.
I was surprised that the pineapple fritter is HUGE compared to savory portions and very very high in fat and sugar but delicious, reminiscent of a donut and probably best shared. The GF batter was incredible.
My only criticism is that there was too much oil for my taste and the mushrooms seemed to have too much corn starch or something gelatinous coating them.
And also, even though they use an ethical company called Vegan Wheels rather than Deliveroo, you can't order a takeaway from the city centre, you have to be closer to Partrick. But if you're in the area, this is the place to go for a quality vegan meal!

Really good - Edit
I’ve been several times and the food is brilliant. The menu is quite mushroom focused but even as someone who’s not a fan of them, there’s still plenty good options. They’ve recently changed the lay out a bit so the space is much nicer and brighter. Service is always quick and friendly and the prices are fair.

Amazing - Edit
I love this place. Honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is always delicious, really fresh, not greasy at all, good portion sizes, excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and will give you recommendations if you're not sure how much to order or which rice goes best with which main dish etc. There's a huge menu and everything I've tried I've loved, plus there's often some specials. They've recently redone the space so it's even nicer, with more natural light, and a really relaxed atmosphere. I can't recommend it enough.
