Booked on line but when we arrived it had not appeared at the restaurant. Always a busy place, staff were accommodating and only had a 30 minute wait. Excellent food

Worth the trip - Edit
Really good and tasty, good value, lots of choice, would definitely go back. Different to other Glasgow places. Tempeh crisps brilliant! We ordered loads of different things to share and it was perfect.

Handwash also against animal testing. Been here 3 times now: Aug 2020, Sept 2021, Dec 2024. Second and third time we didn’t like the tempeh crisps as much as the first time. Recommend getting lots of starters and 1 main to share.

Five Stars. So good. - Edit
Went on a Saturday afternoon and we did book a table for 2 as others mentioned it can get busy. There were some free tables but I am glad I booked. We ordered the Laksa with udon and the Spicy & Sour with ramen along with some spring rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious. These soups were actually spicy which made us very happy. Will definitely return and would recommend to others.

Disappointing - Edit
I am struggling to see what the fuss about this place is all about. We ordered a takeaway last Friday and underwhelming describes our experience. The portions were a disappointing size and the sauce of both our mains was very watery and lacked flavour. Prices have skyrocketed but quality has gone down. Unfortunately this is a trend I have started noticing in many places. Next time I will be cooking my own food.

First time won’t be the last - Edit
My first visit to Suissi did not disappoint. The staff are so nice and the food is absolutely gorgeous. There’s a good range of options and the menu is reasonably priced. My only regret is not having enough time for dessert, so I have the perfect excuse to go back.

Uniquely delicious - Edit
Visiting Glasgow, I made a beeline for this place, which I'd tried on a previous visit a few years back and hankered for ever since. The food is unlike anything I've had elsewhere with an emphasis on various kinds of mushroom (though these aren't mandatory). My sweet and sour trumpet mushrooms were excellent and so was my kale starter - in fact, everything was (we shared). Very popular on a Saturday night - we booked but were warned we could only have a table at the front, which was actually perfect as it turned out. The service is efficient and charming. I'll be back next time I'm in Glasgow (though a London branch would be ideal!).

This place was FANTASTIC. Lovely, patient, friendly and welcoming staff. There was a short waiting time, was greeted the moment I stepped in the door and didn’t have to wait long for my food. I ordered it as take away and it was still hot by the time I got to the park 20 minutes down the road.

Best vegan food in the UK - Edit
Hands down the best vegan food in the UK I’ve had - hard to pick a single dish because it’s all fantastic. The satay tofu, tempeh crisps and tofu parcels are some of my go-to orders. Really friendly staff too, nice drinks. Book in advance to get a table or if you’re lucky enough to be within the delivery radius (thanks Vegan Wheels!) it also delivers quickly, is hot and perfectly packaged.

I've been a couple of times and each time was excellent. If Asian food is your thing, you may well come to think this is the best vegan place in Glasgow. If it's not, go anyway and let them surprise you.

Good Takeaway Food - Edit
I ordered a delivery from here and the food was tasty and clean. It tasted like a standard Chinese takeaway but the knowledge that everything is vegan is just fantastic and far and few between in the UK.

It's been a while since I last visited Suissi, and even though it was busy, they kindly found me a table. This place is one of the top ten restaurants on HappyCow, and it's clear why. The staff is friendly, and the food is amazing—it might be called comfort food, and it definitely made me happy!
Read moreI started with the stuffed tofu, which was fantastic and something I haven't seen in ages. When I asked for a recommendation, they suggested the curry laksa ramen. It was incredible, with a rich, earthy flavor and two types of tofu. It wasn't spicy at first, but the heat kicked in nicely after a few minutes.
I've had a lot of ramen lately, and this one stands out as the best I've had this year. If you're ever in Glasgow or Edinburgh, you’ve got to check out Suissi.
