Like the others, just near Tiananmen Square - Edit
SUHU (素虎) is a vegan, alcohol-free restaurant chain that literally means "vegetarian tiger". I happened to find this one near Tiananmen Square. It's off of the QianMen station, like mentioned in the description.
Read moreFood here is the same menu as in other of the SUHU restaurants. Giant menu with a bunch of options. Here I had the 水饺 (boiled dumplings), the fake fish protein (really just wheat gluten), and the Vietnamese spring rolls. Delicious.
The main issue I had here was that there was no English-speaking staff attending tables. Only at the front, so when they had to tell me that the kind of dumpling I ordered was out of stock, that got a little hairy.
I think this place is pretty affordable at ¥110-ish for all of that above. Service was attentive, even if we had some language barriers. The place was also very clean and modern looking. Great place to go that's in the middle of the city.
Pros: Great location, Giant menu
Cons: Have to get by with Mandarin only
