"Vegetarian Tiger" operates several branches in Beijing - this one is near Qianmen station just beyond the southwest corner of Tiananmen Square. Large space with plenty of seating. Serves a la carte Chinese style soups and dishes with mushrooms, tofu, mock meats, vegetables, and noodles. Also offers option for all-you-can-eat. Reported to be fully vegan in March 2026. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm. Buffet available until 8pm.

Between lunch and dinner hours, they serve hot pot. Desserts, as well as the ingredients and sauces for the hot pot, are available, but the rest of the menu is not offered in the afternoon. The hot pot is also all-you-can-eat and about 30 yuan cheaper than the lunch or dinner all-you-can-eat option. It was a wonderful experience — we hadn’t expected to find a vegan hot pot, especially with such a wide variety of ingredients! 🥰

The best vegan hot pot I have ever had!! We came after 14:30, between lunch and dinner servings, and we were glad to find out it was hot pot time. The kind English-speaking waitress helped us order, explain how to prep the food, and even made the sauce for us! It was unbelievably delicious, while the all-you-can-eat salad and dessert buffet was still available. Even my meat-loving dad found it incredible. Don’t miss out on this restaurant in Beijing!

Fantastic Veg Buffet - Edit
Amazingly large and diverse vegetarian buffet that offers everything from person tabletop hot pot to pizza and tacos. Nothing is labeled as vegan so be cautious about items that may usually contain milk or eggs. This might not be the most delicious versions of some of the foods offered but they make up for it by offering variety.

This place is unbelievable. The quality and variety of dishes will blow your mind. I couldn’t even get halfway through the dishes of the all you can eat buffet, drinks and desserts are included for a price of 78 Yuan! It was absolutely delicious, we will come back tomorrow 😍

Vegetarian buffet restaurant with a humungous variety of items. Place is packed though it is still possible to find a table. They have hotpot, chinese food, some western items like burgers, pizza etc and a noodle station. There is also a station for hot/cold drinks and ice cream. Great value for money.

This place has so much to choose from! It's also super affordable. It's about 10€ per person for this vegan paradise. In my opinion the mock meats are the stars of the restaurant though there were many dishes I didn't get to try. It's seriously a vegan dream. It's incredible that a place like this even exists.
Note: it says "VEGETABLE FEAST BUFFET" outside. I don't really know the exact name of this place in English, but I did see a small veg tiger logo outside and on the plates, so maybe it's still called veg tiger.

This was truly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to quite a few vegan buffets in China, while this is slightly more expensive than others, though incredibly cheap (78¥), this was on another level. I cannot believe the variety and quality - there is definitely over 100 dishes including hot pot, self serve and lovely drinks. You have to experience it for yourself!!!!!

After a month in Beijing eating very little, I discovered this place and got overexcited by the ridiculous amount of options and but then I ate way too much and was sick. But that’s because It’s so good. You get so much for around the £7 mark. Got to try a mix of Chinese dishes which were veganised that I missed out on, and western food too. Also a mr whippy machine, loads of desserts and drinks. #Veganuary

huge selection and very tasty dishes! we went once and then came back on another day (so two dinners in row, we got to tasty plenty dishes!). many many variatians of tofu, many soups, loads of veggies and a few western options. the buffet closed at 20:30 but they let you sit there and finish eating until 21. after the buffet closed, all the staff eats from what is left, and this was so nice to see

Best buffet dining experience!! It was so hard to select what to eat since I wanted to try everything they had to offer. They have a variety of drinks too. You can also make your own hotpot. They offer a lot of Chinese and some international dishes as well. There’s a lot of desserts to select from too. Loved every bite and bit of this experience!
