"Vegetarian Tiger" operates several branches in Beijing - this one is near Qianmen station just beyond the southwest corner of Tiananmen Square. Large space with plenty of seating. Serves a la carte Chinese style soups and dishes with mushrooms, tofu, mock meats, vegetables, and noodles. Also offers option for all-you-can-eat. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm. Buffet available until 8pm.

My favorite vegan restaurant in the world, and yes, it is vegan, according to the woman who worked there and all the signage and everything I saw. Variety is endless. Food is delicious. Such an amazing buffet. I thought I died and went to vegan Heaven. Hallelujah. Praise be. Love this place. Sounds like the owner is a great person. Used to have like ten of these restaurants but Covid shut down six of them. Can’t find the other three on Happy Cow…update please? So good. Please support and enjoy!

This might honestly be one of the craziest vegan buffets in the world. The selection is massive—there are so many dishes that it’s impossible not to find things you’ll love. Everything is fully vegan, with an impressive spread of appetizers, hot dishes, salads, soups, desserts, and drinks.
Read moreSome of our favorites were the hot and sour soup, the refreshing cucumber salad, and the wasabi dressing, which was absolutely incredible. After spending two weeks in China mostly eating noodles and dumplings, it was such a relief to find some Western-style options mixed in as well.
The restaurant was extremely busy when we visited, which really says a lot. They even include a hot pot option, but we were already way too full to try it.
Beyond the food, there’s also a great selection of drinks that aren’t overly sweet—very refreshing—along with a solid dessert section, including ice cream.
If you’re in Beijing, this place is an absolute must-visit. Do not miss it.

What a marvellous find this place is - superb range of dishes with even a few western ones thrown in. Salads, mains, desserts and even whipped ice cream from a machine (3 choices). Highly recommended- if it’s good enough for the local Bhuddist monks then it’s good enough for me!

We found this place through HappyCow and even booked our hotel nearby because of its convenience. For less than €10, you get an all-you-can-eat, 100% vegan buffet in a great location with amazing food. Go and try it out, really, you won’t regret it!

To find vege Tiger - standing at Quianman station looking north towards Tiananmen square go West - you need to go through underpass and then cross a street - then go past police station- past first chinese KFC, passed McD and couple restaurants further you see vege Tiger sign at the building - open 11-14 and 17:30-22:00 and you find best vegan food buffet all you can eat for 51¥ -

Einfach wow! 🌱 Dieses vegane All-You-Can-Eat in Peking hat mich komplett begeistert. Riesige Auswahl an frischen Speisen, von Hot Pot über Süßes bis hin zu Obst – und man kann sich sogar eigene Zutaten frisch zubereiten lassen. Getränke ohne Ende, super sauber (inkl. This is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to as a vegetarian! Aesthetic, lots of options, Chinese and Western Food, really really tasty!! I will never forget this place!! They have barbecue, hot pot, cold dishes, main dishes, salad bar, fruit bar, sushi, soups, ice cream, slushie, different drink options! Just incredible!!! I really liked the pickled radish, sausage, vegan eel sushi, plum bean and the Oreo cake!! (they have a western toilet!!)

I had one day in Beijing and little appetite for most of it because of anxiety and the heat, but by the end of the day was looking for dinner and nearly didn't come here due to confusion over it's name and it not being on Google Maps (it's on Amap as "Vege Tiger (Qiamen Branch") but I'm so glad I did! 'buffet' 'vegan' and 'chinese food' are some of my favourite words, and the combo IN CHINA blew my mind 🤯 I wish I had more time to try everything. Will be thinking about this meal for the rest of my life.

The variety of food here is absolutely incredible! Nearly everything I tried was delicious, and I tried pretty much everything! If you want to experience the full range of flavors, I recommend grabbing a small portions of each dish otherwise you’ll get full fast 🫠🫠

Definitely worth visiting here for the sheer volume of vegan food! The range is just insane. Tried little bits of lots of the dishes….sushi, mock meats, veggies, salads, bbq skewers - the list goes on and on. They have a desserts and drinks bar too with a decent coffee machine. To be honest, none of the dishes were amazing, lots of nice food but nothing really blew me away. Still an amazing experience but go for the variety rather than the quality.

Hands down the best vegetarian place I’ve found so far in Beijing! It’s a buffet with delicious meals for a good price! You also have the option to eat hotpot. I payed 78 yuan (9,26EUR/10,88USD) which I found quite cheap. But I have to say, I’m used to paying 40/50 euro for a buffet. The staf was very friendly and one helped me even with making my hotpot sidedish sauce!
