"Vegetarian Tiger" operates several branches in Beijing - this one is near Qianmen station just beyond the southwest corner of Tiananmen Square. Large space with plenty of seating. Serves a la carte Chinese style soups and dishes with mushrooms, tofu, mock meats, vegetables, and noodles. Also offers option for all-you-can-eat. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:00pm, 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Not only was it cheap, but also it had the most amount of options I've ever encountered. Everything was so delicious I can't even choose my favourite dish. The very best of Chinese cuisine for vegetarians. Drinks included in the price.

They have over 130 vegan dishes, ranging from savory to sweet. Everything from noodles, mashed potatoes, steamed buns, hamburgers, tacos, hotpot, mock meats, to almond cake, mochi, and dumplings. They’ve truly got it all. The food was all excellent, I had three plates. 78 rmb (about $11USD) for all you can eat is an amazing deal. Cannot recommend this place enough! Also has a small section of things you can buy to go if you need snacks for something like a trip to the Great Wall!

It’s a vast buffet with enormous choice of vegan food, including soft serve ice-cream (vanilla, strawberry and double flavor) and cakes.

Ate here a few times as it was convenient and all vegan.

As usual with buffets, the food isn't super hot but it is good.
We arrived late one night when they had started clearing away all the food but they let us in for less than half the price and brought us some food over including 20 dumplings each and almost an entire cake that had been leftover.
Staff were very helpful and kind.

This place was absolutely amazing. Make sure you are hungry because honestly there was so much food and it was all amazing. It’s costs about $17 AUD for all you can eat. Has mock meats, sweets, drinks and some western food.

I was like a kid in a candy shop at this place! 75RMB (around AUD$15) for all you can eat buffet with so much variety. Almost everything I tried was delicious. They have everything you could possibly want: mock meats, dumplings, skewers, soups, stir fries, curries, buns, noodles, juices, soft serve ice cream, desserts, fruit. I wish I'd taken more photos but I was too busy eating! Easy to find location too.

There is one person who speaks English. The signs are only in Chinese - but its no problem with a Translation App and in my opinion it doesn't really matter what's in it, because it's all vegan. the dishes were super tasty and very exciting.
Highly recommend Vege Tiger!
They have also a small store with some sweets and bakery stuff.
Pros: Large buffet, very large selection of Chinese Food, Cheap , Nearly everything was delicious

Buffet de comida china vegetariana. Tienen muchísimos platos, tanto fríos como calientes, y puedes repetir cuantas veces quieras. Si quieres probar comida china sin arriesgar a que no te guste la mitad de lo que pides este es un sitio ideal para probar de todo. El lugar es muy agradable. Nos gustó tanto que repetimos al día siguiente.

An amazing find during a brief layover in Beijing - almost a hundred dishes (mostly Chinese) in an all you can eat buffet - all solid dishes, very relaxed vibe, all this came to less than £20 for both of us. Very hard to stop eating!

Amazing place with loads of Chinese vegan(-ish?) dishes, very cheap and very healthy, too, if you crave veggies and simpler and clean meals as a traveller. Unfortunately zero signs and information in English, only one lady knew English, only cash accepted. One of the teas tasted like it was sweetened with honey, and there might be egg tofu in some dishes....

Delicious buffet for such a good price! There are soo many choices of chinese dishes. I took small bites of everything to taste as many dishes as I could.
Read moreThey were all very tasty, and the mock-meat dishes and skewers were very flavorful with nice textures. There are also a lot of delicious vegetables, soups and noodle dishes if you're not into mock meat.
Drinks are included and self service, there are several sodas, juices and also a soy milk machine. I'm so glad I got to taste so many vegan version of chinese dishes!
Staff is very nice. Easy to find and near the station. Highly recommand it!

My mind is blown. I tried as many little bites as possible. The deserts are not my taste but the fresh soy milk machine helped wash them down! The cold tofu noodles were my favorite. It’s worth it to come to China for this buffet. I’ll be dreaming of this place for the rest of my life.

90 dishes for 68 yuan. Great variety of food with amazing taste. You can also have tea, (filtered) water and other drinks! Easy to find, close to the metro. You can find this restaurant under the name of Vege Tiger or Suhu. Only con: not a lot of desserts

it's a buffet therefore it's unlimited, they were refilling non-stop the food. so, more than normal size. you can take the portion you want of each choice.
