They have multiple faux meats to choose from and the tortillas are made in house. Everything was bright and fresh and delicious. For a real challenge, they have a ghost pepper taco, but if you order it, be sure to also get some horchata!

Amazing Food and Camera Ready Atmosphere! - Edit
While visiting in Los Angeles, myself and a friend decided to try Sugar Taco, and were we glad we did. The food was fast, hot and delicious! The wait staff were super friendly and answered all of our questions. The outdoor seating was really nice and all of their walls are Instagram ready. We loved that they are so eco friendly - they plant trees and supply meals to hungry children. They are kid and dog friendly. We loved our dinner so much, we went back the next night. I read they will be opening for lunch soon as well. I would highly recommend Sugar Taco if you are in the area!

Super cute little vegan Mexican spot, seems to have just opened! Their entire restaurant is adorable and the food was BOMB. I’m usually not big on vegan cheese and the quesadilla was the best one I’ve ever had in my life. And my skeptic bf devoured the tacos. Gluten free options which is nice and their conchas are amazing. I didn’t try the agua frescas yet but they come in cute reusable jars and everyone seemed to love them. Will definitely be back weekly!

Eco-Friendly Vegan Mexican - Edit
A lot of work went into everything about this place and you can immediately recognize it when you walk in. The entire menu is vegan so you can go wild! I love how they’re dedicated to reusable items and no plastic. Small drinks come in a plant based cup and a large comes with a glass reusable jar. The food seems to be perfectly proportioned for individuals. Perhaps to cut down on food waste, or maybe it’s just as simple as cost to profit margin? Either way, it’s great if you’re by yourself. If you are in a group and want to share everything, you’ll definitely need to order a lot which can get pricey. The tacos were very fresh! The quesadilla and churro bites were the best items that I had out of the tacos, nachos, quesadilla and churro bites. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and chef Alan seems to make gold out of everything he touches! They even have a dog menu for your little puppers. It’s extremely nice to have an all vegan option on this strip of area.
