We went 1/17/25 and they had a limited menu but we were able to try several types of taco. All were great but our fav was the pescado. I’m still thinking about that taco!! Soooooo good.

Went for lunch with the family. Amazing all vegan taco, burritos, nachos, quesadillas with multiple protein options. We tried them all. The potato and the fish tacos (tofu) were my favorite. The chicken (soy) and al pastor (seitan) and carnitas (jackfruit) were also very good. All unique flavors. The sour cream which is tofu based was one of the best vegan sour creams I’ve ever had. Definitely get the nachos, half order is massive. The quesadilla was a very pleasant surprise, with non nut non dairy cheese. Definitely save room for the churro donut, surprisingly light and not dense. Will definitely be coming again. Staff was super nice as well.

such a cute place, so many bright colors and plants. the food was AMAZING! everything was so good. i tried basically one of each taco, i think the tofu fish taco and pollo taco were my favorites, followed by the carne asada. free chips and salsa were great. horchata and churro donut were delicious as well

Friendly and courteous staff.
The food was very good and very filling. We ordered a carnitas burrito, a fish burrito, the 3 tacos plate and 2 donuts. We loved the burritos over the tacos and the donuts were just yummy!
This is definitely a place that we would like to visit again and again.😄

LOVED the nachos. The potato taco was a bit bland — could’ve used something else for flavor, just felt like potato mush. Fish taco was unique! I’ve had better vegan fish tacos in SD, but I’d come back to try other options. Rice and beans were great too. #Veganuary

I was looking for something small to eat and this place did not disappoint me. I had 2 tacos but i would recommend the 3 taco plate if you are hungry because it comes with rice and beans. The place looks cute with a small seating area and there are washrooms as well. They do not have wifi to share.

I love Sugar Taco! I’ve been to their other LA locations before and I’m so glad they opened one in LB. I always get their 3 taco plate which is delicious, but I finally tried their nachos and they’re so good too! I love the decor/ambiance, and the staff are awesome. Can’t wait to come back!
