Always something vegan to eat, but more in the health food ahead and veggies on fresh bread vein than complex meals. Nothing wrong with that, but the trip is for Rochester and the bookstore, not vegan treats specifically.

Terrific freshly made food and exceptional atmosphere - Edit

A charming bookstore/restaurant in the center of the sweet little town of Rochester, Vermont. Home-cooked bagels are excellent, and include unusual flavors like dill and rosemary. Sandwiches are to die for. I only drink decaf coffee and their dark roast Americano was as good as I've ever had. Look out — I misinterpreted (wishful thinking) the "veggie cream cheese" as vegan. Of course it's not, it's just cream cheese with chopped vegetables. Not their fault. A wide variety of baked sweets and of fun dining locations throughout the bookstore and outdoors.
