Vegan sweets - Edit
I am not gluten free but I'm always down for vegan sweets.. However, these were not my cup of tea. The lemon bar was pretty good but the brownie and ginger cookie I couldn't even finish.

Nicest vegan baked goodies in Edinburgh! - Edit
Sugar Daddy's had the nicest baked goodies we tried in Edinburgh and we had them from a few places. So tasty, not too sweet, not overloaded with sugary frosting.

The cakes here are good, the coffee cheap and the atmosphere is nice as well. Cakes are very sugary though and the salt on top of the salted caramel brownie was a bit too much for my taste.

We got lattes and treats to take away and every item was excellent! While not everything is vegan, they have a lot of choices and they're all well labeled. The stop is tiny, with one table and a few seats, so best not to plan to eat in.

We were so excited about visiting this place but then our hearts broke when we found out that it wasn't a 100% vegan place. It's a gluten-free bakery but not 100% vegan. We were able to walk away with a few delicious items but were sad that we couldn't buy the other goodies because they were not vegan. We are not sure why we thought they were a vegan bakery. Nonetheless, cute place, good service, delicious goodies. Their vegan shortbread was our favourite! Everything is labelled well and if it's vegan, the little box on the label will be checked vegan. Enjoy!

Cookies & cream (dark chocolate) cupcake - icing was great. Cake texture was excellent. Flour tastes very different, you can really tell it's gluten free.
Sugar doughnut - tasted good, but texture was bad (rubbery).
Red pepper scone. Nice taste; texture was too dry.
Friendly staff. Great location, right by the huge botanical garden, which is free to visit!

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options (considering it is not exclusively a vegan bakery). Nice variety, there is certainly something for everyone whatever their dietary requirements. We took away three exceptional cakes for £8.25. Looking forward to many return visits!

I got a delicious and decadent vegan Salted Caramel birthday cake and it was one of the best cakes I have ever had. Not a single person would have even guessed that the cake was vegan! Would definitely order again when in Edinburgh the next time.

Delicious little gluten free cake shop with lots of vegan options and all other allergens listed next to each cake . We tried quiet a few of the cakes! The brownie was soft and moist and really chocolatey. The cookie sandwich was crunchy and sweet and really good. But the best had the to be the cup cake the sponge was so soft and light and the frosting was just so creamy! Also sells teas and coffees etc. Well worth the visit.
