Est. 2019 this hotel offers brunch buffet on the weekends that's all plant-based. Includes greens, black beans, tofu scramble, butternut squash hash, waffles, toast, weekly chef's special, coffee and tea. Smoothie menu available for ordering. Uses ingredients from St Croix farms. Seating is around the pool or in the garden. Removed December 2023 - no longer serves food.

Awesome Vegan Brunch

For years, it has been a challenge to find a restaurant on St. Croix willing to serve a vegan-friendly breakfast and/or brunch. Thank goodness for Ryan and Corina! Since they opened Sugar Apple B & B for brunches on weekends, we can eat delicious and cruelty-free food to which we are happy to introduce friends and family members.

I love that there are two options for the buffet, an all-you-can-eat option, and a lower-priced single-plate option. The food is always fresh, healthy and satisfying - they try to use as many local ingredients as possible which is great, because we have many wonderful farmers here on island.

I particularly love the waffles - vegan and gluten free(!) with their home-made mango lemon sauce. There are also fabulous beverage options like smoothies and mimosas, and now including locally-brewed Leatherback beers and ales.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We go almost every week-end and will continue indefinitely.
