Serves meat, vegan options available. Süß & Salzig is a little restaurant in Leipzig Plagwitz/Lindenau run by a couple. The menu consists of flammkuchen (tarte flambé), variations of burgers, and casserole - could request for vegan. On Sunday there is vegan-friendly brunch. home made spreads for Sunday brunch - Edit
At Sundays the Süß & Salzig offers a buffet brunch at a very nice price. Home made creative spreads, ranging from olive paste, tomato butter to veggie "Mett" are all very well made and tasty. Sweet options are available as well. Almost all spreads and offers are vegan or vegetarian. Home made bread is worth to try. Along with a large black coffee a very nice way to start a relaxing Sun-day in the neighborhood of Plagwitz/Lindenau.
Pros: nice food, good selection of decent background music
Cons: booking recommended
