Puur genieten!

“ALWAYS eat with PLEASURE not with guilt”. Daar heeft SUE helemaal gelijk in! Bij SUE is alles suikervrij, glutenvrij, lactosevrij en vegan. Misschien vraag je je af… kan dat dan wel lekker zijn? Volmondig zeg ik: JA!

Pros: 100% vegan, 100% glutenvrij, 100% lactosevrij

Cons: Suikervrij betekent niet geen suikers, Er worden wel zoetstoffen gebruikt

Just amazing

Always getting the most delicious and nutritious food here! Sometimes it’s really busy and unfortunately no place to sit (inside).

Pros: Fresh and amazing food

Cons: Kinda expensive

Good way to start a day. Or all days.

I really like how 'intentive' they are. A nice atmosphere, very diverse menu with lots of options. Amazing cakes, and very nice meals to start your day with.

Pros: Broad menu, Great taste, No sugars

Had a nice lunch!

Had a nice lunch, enjoyed a bunch of cakes, juice and a cappucino. Really sweet they had "normal" milk for the cappucinno (only non-vegan option on the menu). Not too narrow minded, love that. To finish it off all the "baby falicities" were in place!

Pros: Cow milk option for cappucino, Baby changing space

Cosy place for an alternative breakfast

Probably one of the best places to enjoy an alternative breakfast. No refined sugar, vegan and without gluten doesn't mean untasty. It was precisely the opposite: flavors are really present thanks to the quality of the products. The turmeric latte is wonderful and the smoothie bowls taste like heaven. Plus the restaurant is really comfy !

Pros: No refined sugar, Vegan

Very nice food experience

I was there for lunch together with non-veg colleagues, who could choose among so many tasty options, that some decided to try a veg diet for a week! People was also very nice, explaining in detail ingredients and recipes, and giving advice on how to cook it at home etc. Strongly recommended.

lovely breakfast

So good to have vegan options for breakfast in Rotterdam. This place has good ethics too. They want to make food that has a positive reputation. It also tastes amazing. We had scrambled eggs with gluten free toast. Then some tasty sweet treats without sugar. It’s close to the centre and easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Pros: easy to find , tasty, gluten free

sweet :)

We were too late for lunch so we had the taste of different sweets. We really loved the Sue Bites. We’ll definitely go back some day for a proper lunch!

Nice atmosphere and food

We've been there for lunch and dessert. The place is quite busy but we found a table for the three of us. You could call and reserve a table if you don't want to wait.
The food was nice. I had the Pad Thai which was raw vegan. I didn't expect it to be raw and therefore cold but it tasted nice. My boyfriend has the portobello mushroom burger. That was quite small and he was still hungry afterwards.
Great choice of dessert. We had the 'Sue tasting' and all the goodies were delicious. Didn't like the banana bread though...

It's a nice place but I'm not sure if I'll go there again next time I'm in Rotterdam!

Can't get enough of this place

I have been here several times now and the food is just lovely. The service however is a bit cold. But I can live with that. The staff isn't rude.

My go to bite is the Twix inspired rawcake. Absolutely fabulous no sweetners needed.
The price of 3,25 per piece is rather steep which is a shame. It's nice as an "after lunch" dessert rather than a substantial snack or meal.

Pros: Lots of vegan, Close to shopping area, Nice seating

Cons: Expensive

Very nice lunch!

We had a sort of a false start here when we received a juice we did not order (it was a very nice juice!) and a ginger tea that had pieces of cutting board in it... Bad start, after which we doubted ordering food..

But we still ordered the vegan cheese platter that was surprisingly good and enjoyable, and the Pad Thai, which appeared to be a cold spiralized veggy version, which was also very tasty! We also took some sweet pastries that tasted quite nice.

Pros: Vegan food, Vegan cheese, Lots of vegan sweet pastries

Cons: Finding pieces of plastic cutting board in your gi

Tea time!

We went here for a coffee and a pastry.
The coffee was freshly grinded and the tea had real mint leaves in it.
The pastries are all without sugar and raw vegan. They were delicious, our favorite is the twix one.
They have a breakfast menu before 12:00 and a lunch menu for after 11:30.
The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The menu was in English.

Small portions but tasty

I came here for lunch to eat the burger with 'bacon' and fries, the homemade ice tea and a key lime pie. I asked for bread instead of the portobello mushroom which was no problem (first time I had gluten-free bread and it was good!). The burger and the fries are very good and the key lime pie was the perfect finish, delicious 👌 The portions are quite small though for the price you are paying. Overall a good experience, and the interior is very cute!

Pros: Friendly staff , Tasty and high quality food , Very nice interior and atmosphere

Cons: Quite expensive

Gebakjes

Great Place to treat yourself

This restaurant is for you if you want to treat yourself – the lunch portions aren't too big, so maybe don't go there if you are super hungry. But the staff is extremely friendly and the cakes are HEAVEN. We would recommend taking the platter with multiple little cakes so you can trie a bit of everything.

Pros: Delicious food, healthy , nice staff

Cons: a Bit Pricy, small portions

MUST GO.

SUE's motto is sweet without sugar.
...and it is.
Definitely worth a trip, we went once and had to go back.
Lots of little desserts to choose from as well as a selection of breakfasts till 12 and lunches that start from 11:30.
We tried lots of the desserts that were delicious, also the avocado toast, 'bacon' and syrup pancakes, and the omelette made from chickpeas.
All delicious. don't think about it just go and try it :)

Pros: Chilled out atmosphere, friendly staff, Seating outside and in, Central location, close to station

Really nice for a (mostly) raw place.

As a vegan fast-food lover I was a bit sceptical at first. Although I wouldn't necessarily order it again, the raw "courgetti" wasn't bad at all. The soup was nice (not raw), but the raw "bites" (small cakes) were absolutely amazing (like really really really amazing).

Pros: Almost everything is vegan, Everything looks very nice, Very nice food

Great vegan lunchroom

SUE is modern little restaurant where you can eat a delicious vegan breakfast or lunch. There are not many choices but i've tried almost everything and it's al very good. They are most famous for their amazing "bites": little square vegan pastries with a lot of different flavors. My personal favorite is the "tiramisu" one but they are all very tasty!

Pros: Nice vibe, Great pastries, Friendly staff
