A sweet place - Edit
Sucre is a very welcoming and cozy place in the central part of Biržai. It basically has two parts - a bakery where one can get all kinds of breads and sweets, and a coffeehouse with hot/cold drinks, sandwiches and desserts. The bakery has many vegan sour breads and a few sweet ones. Meanwhile, the coffee corner offers smoothies, juice shakes, and many types of coffee drinks that can be easily veganized by replacing dairy with soy milk (although they charge extra 0.3€ for that). I tried mint mocha and mango mint smoothie, both were delicious. The staff was professional and helpful to explain the ingredients.
Read moreThe place is very popular among the local people, especially the bakery that seemed to be super busy. The coffee area wasn't that crowded. There was no problem to find a vacant table either outside or inside.
The prices are moderate, although somewhat cheaper than in bigger cities in Lithuania. Overall, Sucre offers a good deal. The only thing that vegans could wish is more vegan options.
Pros: good location, soy milk option, delicious
Cons: few vegan desserts, no vegan sandwich
