Disappointing and Expensive

Nice variety of vegan milks for coffee drinks, but burger was awful and expensive. Garnished with a center pale yellow stalk of lettuce, the center stem portion of an overly ripe tomato (I tasted mold), and some kind of hard yellow stick I almost broke a tooth on. Very disappointing lunch for the money. Most expensive meal I've had in my two weeks in Spain.

Great location and Good Food

The market is beautiful and the restaurant has some good vegan options including Paella. We had a vegan cheese board that had some great cheeses. Easy to order from your phone at the table for table service.

Pros: Paella, Orange Juice and Cava, Vegan Cheese

Cons: Not all vegan

Great atmosphere, good food

I was looking for vegan paella and found it! A plate of paella, some olives, and beer hit the spot! Outdoor seating was great, servers were quick and fun, and the food was quite good!

Expensive

I wouldn't go there. It's really not worth it. Food was alright, but due to location really overpriced. Staff was rude.

Nice paella and good service

A few decent vegan options, including the paella. One of the more available places for paella that we found in València, a lot of others have awkward opening times. Service was really friendly and it's a lovely location in the market to sit and watch the world go by. A little pricey as a few others have said.

Pros: Paella, Service

Cons: A little pricey

Vegan cheese platter

Very limited vegan options, we’d the salad, the cheese platter and the burger which is basically all of them. My cheese platter looked nothing like the one in people’s photos, only had 3 heels of bread and one dip. It was nice - but I was starving an hour later. Very expensive for what it is, there’s definitely plenty of better vegan options in Valencia.

Pros: Location

Cons: Portion sizes were tiny, Vegan cheese platter didn’t have all the cheeses , 5 euro for a coffee

Great vegan cheese platter and paella

We had the vegan cheese platter which was really delicious and also pretty good value at 13 euros. The paella was also great.

Pros: Cheese platter, Paella, Value for money

Nice but expansive

We've got vegan paella and the brownie. They were ok, good, but nothing special. A bit too expansive

Paella

Opzioni vegane al Mercat de Colon.
Abbiamo provato la Paella vegana, cioè di sole verdure. Niente di sorprendente.
Prezzi alti. Un piatto misero e neanche ben presentato 14€. Tralasciate il dolce vegano

Individual portions of paella

We went there for the vegan paella. It was alright but definitely not the best I've ever had... Maybe it doesn't feel the same when it's not served in the typical paella dish though. We were only 2 but even if you're a bigger group, they bring it to you on an individual plate so you're missing that "sharing" experience in my opinion.

It's a nice little café so going there for a smoothie is also a good option if you're not hungry and fancy a break in a popular area.

Pros: Location

Pros: Paella , Staff

Cons: A bit touristy

Oh dear…

Waited 45 mins and they didn’t bring one of our meals or any of our drinks. We were a party of 2 people.
The salad I ordered was bland without any dressing.
They had the cheek to add a service charge!

Not recommended.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Poor service - order not completed, Poor quality food, Expensive for the poor quality

Good Vegan Options

We had Orxata, Gazpacho and Paella. All were tasty but not outstanding. Bonus points for using organic local food. The restaurant is on the touristy side, which may be no surprise given it's location and makes it a bit more expensive. Staff speaks English and is welcoming.

Variety of flavourful vegan food

🌱 Vegan sandwich with cheese, tomatoes, zucchini and eggplant (€8,80)

This place is perfect for a yummy lunch. There’s a variety or vegan food such as a paella, sandwich, burger, salad… I chose the vegan sandwich and it was actually pretty good. The cheese tasted like parmesan cheese meeting hummus. The location is stunning ‘cause you’re in de Mercado Colón. It feels like you’re eating outside, but you don’t have feel the heat you’d feel eating on a terrace.

Paella vegana

La paella vegana de verduras está muy buena y la terraza es muy agradable. El sitio es un poco caro, pero para un día está genial.

they didn't have paella that day, so i ate vegan burger instead and it was just okay, like a homemade one and it was expensive for a thing like that

Cute

While they normally have paella, it was not available while we visited. Instead my friend and I both had sandwiches (I had the vegana - one of the few vegan options left on the menu without the paella). It was good!

It was amongst other shops in an open-air but roofed pavilion of sorts.

Pros: Cute location

Good spot at Mercat de Colon

The location is good at the Colon market. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. The vegetable paella is specifically marked af vegan. The paella was fine, though obviously made earlier and reheated. Still, average vegan paella at this pretty place is still a good idea.

Lovely place to sit and eat

Actually the options are limited, but we only wanted to sit and have a snack.

Pros: Everything is organic here, including the beer.

Cons: A little expensive for the same reason I think.
