We went for lunch. It’s hard to find, but there was a guy handing out flyers that helped us to find the elevator to the 4th floor. With the flyer, it cost 20 rmb per person, which is an amazing deal. Everyone loved the food.

Thanks to other reviewers for helping us to find this place near the Liberation Monument. The tip to look for the KFC in order to find the elevator entrance that opens directly to the pedestrian street was the key.
Read moreWe ate here twice because not only was the buffet extraordinary value at RMB27 (or RMB20 if you have a promo flyer which can be handed out outside the elevator) but the variety and quality of the food is also outstanding.
Super clean and with plenty of tables.
The place is popular with locals (and foreign tourists) and for good reason!

So much choice, so good! 20yuans per person (27 normal price but seemed to be some offers), unlimited food and drinks. Elevator to the 4th floor from next to the KFC, street level. Opened for lunch and dinner and busy both times. Some spicy options but many were okay if you can't tolerate it. Came 4 days in a row, some changes but mostly the same things - there's so many you need to come several times to try them all.

Very affordable buddhist vegan buffet, lots of variety! - Edit
Right by people’s liberation monument, quite easy to find, just take the elevator to the 4th floor (during the day, there are often people up front giving out coupons), pay when you walk in on your right(around 7€ for 2 people), get your plate and chopsticks on your left and find a free seat, there is also some juice/tea and water(cups are stored right next to the lil beverage stand). When you’re done take your plate with you to the exit and give it to the staff on the right.

Cant go wrong for such a good price. Came for lunch and dinner and everything is pretty flavourful and not overly greasy for a buffet. Felt clean and food was filled with warm freshly cooked dishes quickly after depleted. Really good soup dumplings and nice tofu variations, a few fake meat bacony dishes and lots of veg /lighter bits. Pudding bits are pretty good for buffet standards. Loads of watermelon yay.

Fab place - 20 yuan for all you can eat Vegan Chinese food. Go to the Liberation Monument in central Chongqing then look for the corner with a KFC (ironically) - then look for a lift/elevator to the right of the KFC. The vegan place is on the fourth floor. Enjoy!

Unbeatable! Only 20 RMB per Person all-you-can eat buffet. Keep your plate, as you have to use it for extra savoury rounds and also dessert. At the entrance on the right side there is the cashier where you pay in advance and then you get a receipt you give to the staff on the left side of the entrance to receive your plate, bowl and chopsticks (there is also a sink with soap where you can wash your hands). Also at the entrance there is the beverage station with teas, juices and water. The buffet on the left side starts with the desserts, simply move on and don't fill your plate at once in the beginning, because there is a LOT of dishes! Loved the noodles, the mini pancakes and the dumplings. Place is big with plenty of space to sit and full of local people. I really loved it! I really like the buffet concept.

With limited choices in the city, this is probably its best kept secret. A packed buffet, all you can eat with delicious options, everyone should find something because you have the option to go full-on raw or all out greasy.

Cheapest Buffet I’ve Ever Seen 🤯 - Edit
We paid $2.83 USD for this buffet, and I still don’t understand how that’s even possible. The amount of dishes they offer is unreal for the price. I’ve definitely had better Chinese food elsewhere, but they still had some solid options. My favorites were the steamed dumplings, the wonton soup, and the spicy grilled tofu.

The place was packed with locals, and a lot of them were staring at us, probably because they aren’t used to tourists coming here. Overall, it’s a cool, super local experience and absolutely worth checking out!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Chongqing. Considering vegan options are super limited in Chongqing, this place saved my trip. In October 2025 you got a plate for 20¥ and have an all-you-can-eat buffet. The price to food ratio is insane. There are many different options and everyone can find something to their liking. I went with two omnivore friends and they also left the place happy. Only when you don't empty your plate you theoretically have to pay a "fine" in the end, although this was not policed in our case.
