Vegetarian teahouse on the second floor of 和合茶庄 serving set meals including mushroom based dishes and soy based mock meats. Some dishes contain egg but many just have egg on the side which you can ask to be left out.

Nice Presentation/Surreal Service

This place was not obvious to find being outside of the main hustle and bustle and it's details were vague even on Chinese apps but I happily found it open (and completely empty) quite late in the evening. Although it's a teahouse, they also serve full meal sets which comes with complimentary tea. The chef came out to greet me and readily explained which dishes could easily be veganised. The food was not mind blowing but nicely cooked and plentiful, light and healthy and the whole shabang only came to 48rmb. The service was polite but I think a lot of the staff had never spoken to a foreigner before and they took it in turns to loiter by my table and stare at me or nervously ask me random questions while I ate which was funny but a little awkward!
