Cheap noodle restaurant

It's a small restaurant, like a stall with some place to sit. They have main dishes like dry noodles, noodles soup, rice and bamboo soup. And side dishes like tofu and mock meat balls.
The quantity it's not so big, but you can ask for the big bowl for 10NT$ more.
It's a cheap place, one 'normal' noodle bowl it's 45NT$.
The taste it's not a big thing but it's good.

Pros: Price, Easy place

Simple but tasty

They only offer two dished but when you're hungry and out of options it's ok. It's also very cheap.

Pros: Cheap, open in the late evening

Cons: Not that many options

Just a few dishes

It's nothing special really. Even though it gets recommended by the tourist maps, this place does less then other resraurants in this area. Anyway it's good to know, where to find veggie food.

Pros: cheap

Cons: just 3 dishes, bland

Cheap local eatery serving OK food

Out of a handful of ingredients, a friendly family prepares four simple, closely-related dishes: bamboo sprouts in clear sour broth, sticky rice topped with bean paste, noodle soup with bean sprouts/bamboo sprouts/seitan (the broth is the same as the one used for the bamboo soup), and finally the same noodle dish but in "dry" version, topped with some bean paste. The noodle dishes are my favorites, especially the noodle soup. Portions are small (order two dishes, like a noodle dish and the bamboo soup), but it's cheap (all cost TWD40, except the bamboo soup which is 30). Don't expect anything fancy or memorable. Still, it's tasty, and those who like simple, down-to-earth eateries with a local flavor will enjoy it. And why complain when another veg option is available anyway? It's semi-open, so you can enjoy the fresh air after a hot day. Their chili oil sauce (the one in the glass jars) packs a punch - don't put too much, especially in the soup!!! Evenings only, and I think they are closed on Wednesdays.

Pros: Cheap, Local eatery

Cons: Not much variety, Some may find the food too simple
