Outside the su xin fang mala shop, there's a bbq stall starts operating from evening about 4 or 5 to night.

great selection of food- I had the beans/potato noodle and also ordered the dumplings. Both portions were enormous and delicious.

All vegetarian, I guess a lot of the dishes are even vegan. The owner cooks with no fishsauce. We liked the owner and the food so much, we ate there every evening during our stay in Dali.

Amazing vegetarian place, almost all dishes are vegan! - Edit
Staff was very aware of food restrictions, pointed out exactrly which few dishes contained egg (I think 3 dishes out of about 30). All other dishes were vegan. Had shredded mock pork, wonton dumplings and spring rolls. All dishes felt fresh, we saw them make them on the spot. The taste was great, good quantity and mock meats didn't feel processed. Would come again for sure.
