Okay but not the best for vegans - Edit
I ordered the chickpea soup which came with croutons to put in it. It was not bad but very salty. I also ordered the vegan avocado / falafel bites. The avocado seemed like maybe it had been frozen and not fresh, and the breading was really thick. The falafel was okay, but was pretty oily for my taste. The sauces that came with it were interesting (a mango sauce and a sweet/sour sauce). The staff was friendly and we did not wait long for the food to come.

Oh, Susanna - Edit
This restaurant, which is nicknamed Susanna, is right by the waterfront. They have a huge, vegan selection, bigger than most vegan-friendly restaurants in Naxos. We had the Venere Luminoso Vegan, which was delicious, and the pizza Vegan Greca, which was huge (though I found the vegan cheese to be just so-so). Do realize that the small pizza is a bit more than one person can handle, and the big pizza should be shared by a small group.

Bad pizza and big cockroach - Edit
Based on the reviews I thought this place would be good. The staff are friendly and the owner is clearly very passionate but my pizza was awful, really bad, so bad that I only managed to eat half. It was dry, sweet, no discernible flavour, I’ve had better supermarket pizzas. Perhaps the enormous cockroach swimming in the toilet was a warning.

Delicious vegan meal! - Edit
Lovely restaurant on the waterfront with helpful, knowledgeable staff. Full vegan menu with great options (not just cheese removed!), including sides, dips, and vegan cheese on offer. We ordered the small (big very, very big!) Vegan Greca, rosemary foccacia, and the no-meat plate. All delicious!

Su e Giu has a dedicated vegan menu with pasta, pizza, risotto, mains (such as burgers and meat alternatives) bruschetta and more. I tried the arugula topped pizza, and was so eager to eat it, I forgot to take a picture. The regular sized pizza was so large, I was able to take half to-go.

We loved their vegan cheese ! I would recommend taking a large pizza and asking for vegan cheese for 2 people ! The pasta was good but the pizza was the star of the show. The waitress was an angel as well!

Great italian restaurant. It offers vegan cheese for pizza and some vegan pasta options with a variety of vegetables. The staff is also very helpful always suggesting the best option. I’ve been there more than 5 times and I’ll definitely go again when I visit Naxos island in the future.

As the reviews were very different and mostly about pizza, we went with an open mind. We felt very welcome and Su was so sweet and social which is a real plus! There is an amazing atmosphere at the outdoor seating. All the staff is kind and helpful, they know what is vegan and what not and actually give advice on what to change to make a given non-vegan dish vegan. Apart from the menu you can always ask to make some pasta that is not on the menu.
Read moreMy boyfriend took a vegetarian pizza asking to swap the cheese for vegan cheese. Su immediately told us to drop the cheese as the pizza is much better without the vegan cheese and add some more garlic (and it was very nice!). The pizza was very large and had lots of rich and fresh toppings but the dough was a little bit too thick (an italian thin pizza dough may have been better) . I ordered a linguine (which was vegan) mushroom pasta without parmesan and it was so good. Eventually we went back a second time were we both ordered some pasta and again the pasta was really really good!! As I am typing this review I am already dreaming of going back and if it would have been possible I would have kidnapped the chef to make me pastas at home every day! 🌞

Pizzas with vegan cheese options. Pesto pizza, added arugula and cherry tomatoes. I have been ordering pizzas with no cheese everywhere to have this was a blessing. Many vegan options at the restaurant. Sue is nice Giu does not seem so pleasant.

We had a pizza at this place. Although they offered vegan cheese we didn’t try it so can’t judge on that bcs I only had vegetarian pizza without cheese.

But it was disappointing bcs the dough was just not good. Felt like bread, not nice Italian pizza kind of dough.

Great vegan option for a pizza place in Greece - Edit
Su e Guy is in the middle of 20-30 seafront tavernas in Naxos Town. It's menu clearly shows all the vegetarian dishes of which there are plenty. They will also replace the traditional mozzarella with vegan 'cheese'. On a second visit I had linguine vegetariana which Sue adapted by removing the the spinach which was cooked with parmesan. Sue is very attentive to vegan needs. Staff are v friendly.

A beautiful restaurant outside and inside with a great view. The owner is a very kind lady who want the best for you. She can make you vegan options, for example the vegetarian pizzas with vegan "cheese". You will not be disappointed!

Some vegan options available, which is rare in Naxos (so many animals on menus). Not cheap as the island is exploiting the tourist season. Pizza, pasta, fries available. The staff not very knowledgeable about vegan options - after ordering vegan pasta the waiter brought dairy parmazan next to it. The pasta bowl was nice. Large pizza around €18, pasta bowl ~ €10, chips €4.50

Had good pasta, bruschetta and foccacia in prime harbour side location. Waiter insistent the vegetarian cheese for pizza was actually vegan, although also believed salmon to be vegan. Asked for no cheese on pasta and helpful waitress advised me to also take out spinach since it was cooked in cream. Best table covers in Cyclades.

Random Italian BUT with vegan arrangements - Edit
Italian restaurant on the seafront, Susanna the owner is an actual Italian lady. The food is well-done though not extraordinary or original, YET the menu has vegetarian sections and most of its dishes can be veganised. This effort is worth notice, especially in Greece where vegan diets are rare.
