Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican restaurant offering labeled vegan black bean tamales. Also offers a vegetarian menu section with some dishes that can be made vegan on request.
The food has gone downhill, and I paid $15 for a stale tortilla stuffed with nothing but lettuce and avocado. I overheard other people there saying the same thing about it.
This place reminded me of the food I loved as a kid. Puréed refried beans, soft orange rice, simple ingredients. Not the most flavorful imo, but it hit the spot. We actually ended up eating here two nights in a row due to the limited walkable dinner options, but that was just fine. You can also order a la carte, which is what I usually end up doing at texmex restaurants anyway.
This place had a lovely atmosphere and some of the best food! I tried the black bean soup, vegan tamales and chips & guac with strawberry margarita. Can’t wait to try it again!
I'd give zero stars, but not allowed on this app. Horrible service. Horrible food. Horrible drinks. Horrible people. Openly mocked by staff for asking a question. Being someone in the service industry gives perspective. This venue was horrendous. Spend your hard earned money where people understand common decency.
