Friendly oasis

Basically a coffee shop, with very limited good options, but the quality of both is outstanding. There was no meat in evidence on my visit, the food offering being three vegetarian sandwiches/wraps, one of them vegan, plus an Italian herb soup. Montezuma chocolate bars and Nakd raw foods bars also available.

I opted for the vegan Hummus, Cucumber and Red Pepper sandwich. I was offered a choice of breads or to have it as a wrap. It came with a generous salad and crisps.

The coffee comes from a small local roastery and is organic. My espresso managed to be both flavoursome and smooth. For those who don't do coffee, they also have a massive range of teas, herb teas, fruit juices and Whole Earth sodas.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere funky but somewhat quiet.

Recommended.

Pros: stunning coffee, great staff, in a veggie desert

Cons: not in Edinburgh!

Relaxed cosy coffee house.

**Please note Su Casa is located in Ayr, Scotland, not England!**

Food is very tasty and the soup is always veggie, usually with at one served being vegan. Owner is eager to please and will try and cater some of the specials to your dietry requirements, however there are already a few vegan options on the menu including a very tasty chickpea and vegetable curry. The choice isn't groundbreaking but it is one of the few places in Ayr that vegans can go and get food no bother, and the omnis and veggies do seem to enjoy the other options too, so definitely a good place to go to catch up with friends over coffee or lunch.

Pros: Veg*n options, Friendly helpful staff, Relaxed Atmosphere

Cons: Limited Menu
